14.Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her.
15.And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope:

 and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth,

 and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.
16.And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD,

 that thou shalt call me Ishi;

 and shalt call me no more Baali.
17.For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth,

 and they shall no more be remembered by their name.
18.And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field and with the fowls of heaven,

 and with the creeping things of the ground:

 and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth,

 and will make them to lie down safely.
19.And I will betroth thee unto me for ever;

 yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.
20.I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the LORD.
21.And it shall come to pass in that day,

 I will hear, saith the LORD, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth;
22.And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil;

 and they shall hear Jezreel.
23.And I will sow her unto me in the earth;

 and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy;

 and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people;

 and they shall say, Thou art my God.
[KJV]

1. 1.Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
2.Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3.Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves;

 we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4.Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise:

 be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5.For the LORD is good;

 his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
[KJV]

18.For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness;

 but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
19.For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,

 and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
20.Where is the wise?

 where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world?

 hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

21.For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God,

 it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
22.For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
23.But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
24.But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks,

 Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
25.Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men;

 and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
[KJV]

15.And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things,

 he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.

16.Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:
17.And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come;

 for all things are now ready.
18.And they all with one consent began to make excuse.

 The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it:

 I pray thee have me excused.
19.And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them:

 I pray thee have me excused.
20.And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.

21.So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things.

 Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant,

 Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city,

 and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.
22.And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room.
23.And the lord said unto the servant,

 Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
24.For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.
[KJV]
