[내가 이 일을 행하여 그들을 버리지 아니하리니]

14.내가 오래 동안 고요히 하며 잠잠하여 참았으나

이제는 내가 해산하는 여인 같이 부르짖으리니 숨이 차서 심히 헐떡일 것이라
15.내가 큰 산과 작은 산을 황무케 하며 그 초목을 마르게 하며 강들로 섬이 되게 하며 못들을 마르게 할 것이며
16.내가 소경을 그들의 알지 못하는 길로 이끌며 그들의 알지 못하는 첩경으로 인도하며

흑암으로 그 앞에 광명이 되게 하며 굽은데를 곧게 할 것이라

내가 이 일을 행하여 그들을 버리지 아니하리니
[사 42:14-16]

14.I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself:

now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once. 
15.I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs;

and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools.
16.And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not;

I will lead them in paths that they have not known:

I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight.

These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

14 わたしは久しく黙っていた。静かに自分を押さえていた。

今は、子を産む女のようにうめき、激しい息づかいであえぐ。
15 わたしは山や丘を荒らし、そのすべての青草を枯らし、川をかわいた地とし、沢をからす。
16 わたしは目の見えない者に、彼らの知らない道を歩ませ、彼らの知らない通り道を行かせる。

彼らの前でやみを光に、でこぼこの地を平らにする。

これらのことをわたしがして、彼らを見捨てない。

1.이스라엘은 이제 말하기를 여호와께서 우리 편에 계시지 아니하시고
2.사람들이 우리를 치러 일어날 때에 여호와께서 우리 편에 계시지 아니하셨더면
3.그 때에 저희의 노가 우리를 대하여 맹렬하여 우리를 산채로 삼켰을 것이며
4.그 때에 물이 우리를 엄몰하며 시내가 우리 영혼을 잠갔을 것이며
5.그 때에 넘치는 물이 우리 영혼을 잠갔을 것이라 할 것이로다
6.우리를 저희 이에 주어 씹히지 않게 하신 여호와를 찬송할찌로다
7.우리 혼이 새가 사냥군의 올무에서 벗어남 같이 되었나니 올무가 끊어지므로 우리가 벗어났도다
8.우리의 도움은 천지를 지으신 여호와의 이름에 있도다

[나는 네가 핍박하는 나사렛 예수라]
39.바울이 가로되

나는 유대인이라 소읍이 아닌 길리기아 다소성의 시민이니 청컨대 백성에게 말하기를 허락하라 하니
40.천부장이 허락하거늘

바울이 층대 위에 서서 백성에게 손짓하여 크게 종용히 한 후에 히브리 방언으로 말하여 가로되
1.부형들아 내가 지금 너희 앞에서 변명하는 말을 들으라 하더라
2.저희가 그 히브리 방언으로 말함을 듣고 더욱 종용한지라 이어 가로되
3.나는 유대인으로 길리기아 다소에서 났고

이 성에서 자라 가말리엘의 문하에서 우리 조상들의 율법의 엄한 교훈을 받았고

오늘 너희 모든 사람처럼 하나님께 대하여 열심하는 자라
4.내가 이 도를 핍박하여 사람을 죽이기까지 하고 남녀를 결박하여 옥에 넘겼노니
5.이에 대제사장과 모든 장로들이 내 증인이라

또 내가 저희에게서 다메섹 형제들에게 가는 공문을 받아 가지고

거기 있는 자들도 결박하여 예루살렘으로 끌어다가 형벌 받게 하려고 가더니
6.가는데 다메섹에 가까왔을 때에 오정쯤 되어 홀연히 하늘로서 큰 빛이 나를 둘러 비취매
7.내가 땅에 엎드러져 들으니 소리 있어 가로되 사울아 사울아 네가 왜 나를 핍박하느냐 하시거늘
8.내가 대답하되 주여 뉘시니이까 하니 가라사대 나는 네가 핍박하는 나사렛 예수라 하시더라
9.나와 함께 있는 사람들이 빛은 보면서도 나더러 말하시는 이의 소리는 듣지 못하더라
10.내가 가로되 주여 무엇을 하리이까

주께서 가라사대 일어나 다메섹으로 들어가라 정한바 너의 모든 행할 것을 거기서 누가 이르리라 하시거늘
11.나는 그 빛의 광채를 인하여 볼 수 없게 되었으므로 나와 함께 있는 사람들의 손에 끌려 다메섹에 들어갔노라
12.율법에 의하면 경건한 사람으로 거기 사는 모든 유대인들에게 칭찬을 듣는 아나니아라 하는 이가
13.내게 와 곁에 서서 말하되 형제 사울아 다시 보라 하거늘 즉시 그를 쳐다보았노라
14.그가 또 가로되

우리 조상들의 하나님이 너를 택하여 너로 하여금 자기 뜻을 알게 하시며

저 의인을 보게 하시고 그 입에서 나오는 음성을 듣게 하셨으니
15.네가 그를 위하여 모든 사람 앞에서 너의 보고 들은 것에 증인이 되리라
16.이제는 왜 주저하느뇨 일어나 주의 이름을 불러 세례를 받고 너의 죄를 씻으라 하더라

39.But Paul said, I am a man which am a Jew of Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city:

and, I beseech thee, suffer me to speak unto the people.
40.And when he had given him licence,

Paul stood on the stairs, and beckoned with the hand unto the people.

And when there was made a great silence, he spake unto them in the Hebrew tongue, saying,
1.Men, brethren, and fathers, hear ye my defence which I make now unto you.
2.(And when they heard that he spake in the Hebrew tongue to them, they kept the more silence: and he saith,)
3.I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia,

yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel,

and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers,

and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day.
4.And I persecuted this way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.
5.As also the high priest doth bear me witness, and all the estate of the elders:

from whom also I received letters unto the brethren, and went to Damascus,

to bring them which were there bound unto Jerusalem, for to be punished.
6.And it came to pass, that, as I made my journey, and was come nigh unto Damascus about noon,

suddenly there shone from heaven a great light round about me.
7.And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
8.And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest.
9.And they that were with me saw indeed the light,

and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.
10.And I said, What shall I do, LORD? And the Lord said unto me, Arise, and go into Damascus;

and there it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do.
11.And when I could not see for the glory of that light,

being led by the hand of them that were with me, I came into Damascus.
12.And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law,

having a good report of all the Jews which dwelt there,
13.Came unto me, and stood, and said unto me, Brother Saul, receive thy sight.

And the same hour I looked up upon him.
14.And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will,

and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.
15.For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.
16.And now why tarriest thou?

arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

39 パウロは答えた。

「私はキリキヤのタルソ出身のユダヤ人で、れっきとした町の市民です。

お願いです。この人々に話をさせてください。」
40 千人隊長がそれを許したので、パウロは階段の上に立ち、民衆に向かって手を振った。

そして、すっかり静かになったとき、彼はヘブル語で次のように話した。
1 「兄弟たち、父たちよ。いま私が皆さんにしようとする弁明を聞いてください。」
2 パウロがヘブル語で語りかけるのを聞いて、人々はますます静粛になった。

そこでパウロは話し続けた。
3 「私はキリキヤのタルソで生まれたユダヤ人ですが、この町で育てられ、

ガマリエルのもとで私たちの先祖の律法について厳粛な教育を受け、

今日の皆さんと同じように、神に対して熱心な者でした。
4 私はこの道を迫害し、男も女も縛って牢に投じ、死にまでも至らせたのです。
5 このことは、大祭司も、長老たちの全議会も証言してくれます。

この人たちから、私は兄弟たちへあてた手紙までも受け取り、ダマスコへ向かって出発しました。

そこにいる者たちを縛り上げ、エルサレムに連れて来て処罰するためでした。
6 ところが、旅を続けて、

真昼ごろダマスコに近づいたとき、突然、天からまばゆい光が私の回りを照らしたのです。
7 私は地に倒れ、『サウロ、サウロ。なぜわたしを迫害するのか』という声を聞きました。
8 そこで私が答えて、『主よ。あなたはどなたですか』と言うと、

その方は、『わたしは、あなたが迫害しているナザレのイエスだ』と言われました。
9 私といっしょにいた者たちは、その光は見たのですが、

私に語っている方の声は聞き分けられませんでした。
10 私が、『主よ。私はどうしたらよいのでしょうか』と尋ねると、

主は私に、

『起きて、ダマスコに行きなさい。

あなたがするように決められていることはみな、そこで告げられる』といわれました。
11 ところが、その光の輝きのために、

私の目は何も見えなかったので、いっしょにいた者たちに手を引かれてダマスコに入りました。
12 すると、律法を重んじる敬虔な人で、そこに住むユダヤ人全体の間で評判の良いアナニヤという人が、
13 私のところに来て、そばに立ち、『兄弟サウロ。見えるようになりなさい』と言いました。

すると、そのとき、私はその人が見えるようになりました。
14 彼はこう言いました。

『私たちの父祖たちの神は、あなたにみこころを知らせ、義なる方を見させ、

その方の口から御声を聞かせようとお定めになったのです。
15 あなたはその方のために、すべての人に対して、あなたの見たこと、聞いたことの証人とされるのですから。
16 さあ、なぜためらっているのですか。

立ちなさい。その御名を呼んでバプテスマを受け、自分の罪を洗い流しなさい。』

[가라 네 믿음이 너를 구원하였느니라]
46.저희가 여리고에 이르렀더니

 예수께서 제자들과 허다한 무리와 함께 여리고에서 나가실 때에

 디매오의 아들인 소경 거지 바디매오가 길가에 앉았다가
47.나사렛 예수시란 말을 듣고 소리질러 가로되 다윗의 자손 예수여 나를 불쌍히 여기소서 하거늘
48.많은 사람이 꾸짖어 잠잠하라 하되

그가 더욱 심히 소리질러 가로되 다윗의 자손이여 나를 불쌍히 여기소서 하는지라
49.예수께서 머물러 서서 저를 부르라 하시니

저희가 그 소경을 부르며 이르되 안심하고 일어나라 너를 부르신다 하매
50.소경이 겉옷을 내어버리고 뛰어 일어나 예수께 나아오거늘
51.예수께서 일러 가라사대 네게 무엇을 하여주기를 원하느냐

소경이 가로되 선생님이여 보기를 원하나이다
52.예수께서 이르시되 가라 네 믿음이 너를 구원하였느니라 하시니

저가 곧 보게 되어 예수를 길에서 좇으니라

46.And they came to Jericho:

and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people,

blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.
47.And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth,

he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.
48.And many charged him that he should hold his peace:

but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.
49.And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called.

And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.
50.And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.
51.And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee?

The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.
52.And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole.

And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

46 彼らはエリコに来た。

イエスが、弟子たちや多くの群集といっしょにエリコを出られると、

テマイの子バルテマイという盲人の物ごいが、道ばたにすわっていた。
47 ところが、ナザレのイエスだと聞くと、

「ダビデの子のイエスさま。私をあわれんでください」と叫び始めた。
48 そこで、彼を黙らせようと、大ぜいでたしなめたが、

彼はますます、「ダビデの子よ。私をあわれんでください」と叫び立てた。
49 すると、イエスは立ち止まって、「あの人を呼んで来なさい」と言われた。

そこで、彼らはその盲人を呼び、

「心配しないでよい。さあ、立ちなさい。あなたをお呼びになっている」と言った。
50 すると、盲人は上着を脱ぎ捨て、すぐに立ち上がって、イエスのところに来た。
51 そこでイエスは、さらにこう言われた。

「わたしに何をしてほしいのか。」すると、盲人は言った。「先生。目が見えるようになることです。」
52 するとイエスは、彼に言われた。

「さあ、行きなさい。あなたの信仰があなたを救ったのです。」すると、

すぐさま彼は見えるようになり、イエスの行かれる所について行った。
