[내가 모세와 함께 있던 것같이 너와 함께 있는 것을 그들로 알게 하리라]
7.  여호와께서 여호수아에게 이르시되

내가 오늘부터 시작하여

너를 온 이스라엘의 목전에서 크게 하여

내가 모세와 함께 있던 것같이 너와 함께 있는 것을 그들로 알게 하리라
8.  너는 언약궤를 멘 제사장들에게 명하여 이르기를

너희가 요단 물가에 이르거든 요단에 들어서라 하라
9.  여호수아가 이스라엘 자손에게 이르되

이리 와서 너희 하나님 여호와의 말씀을 들으라 하고
10.  또 말하되

사시는 하나님이 너희 가운데 계시사

가나안 족속과 헷 족속과 히위 족속과 브리스 족속과 기르가스 족속과 아모리 족속과 여부스 족속을

너희 앞에서 정녕히 쫓아내실 줄을 이 일로 너희가 알리라
11.  보라

온 땅의 주의 언약궤가 너희 앞서 요단으로 들어가나니
12.  이제 이스라엘 지파 중에서 매 지파에 한 사람씩 십이명을 택하라
13.  온 땅의 주 여호와의 궤를 멘 제사장들의 발바닥이 요단 물을 밟고 멈추면

요단 물 곧 위에서부터 흘러 내리던 물이 끊어지고 쌓여 서리라
14.  백성이 요단을 건너려고 자기들의 장막을 떠날 때에 제사장들은 언약궤를 메고 백성 앞에서 행하니라
15.  (요단이 모맥 거두는 시기에는 항상 언덕에 넘치더라)

궤를 멘 자들이 요단에 이르며 궤를 멘 제사장들의 발이 물가에 잠기자
16.  곧 위에서부터 흘러 내리던 물이 그쳐서 심히 멀리 사르단에 가까운 아담 읍 변방에 일어나 쌓이고

아라바의 바다 염해로 향하여 흘러가는 물은 온전히 끊어지매 백성이 여리고 앞으로 바로 건널새
17.  여호와의 언약궤를 멘 제사장들은 요단 가운데 마른 땅에 굳게 섰고

온 이스라엘 백성은 마른 땅으로 행하여 요단을 건너니라

7.  And the LORD said unto Joshua,

This day will I begin to magnify thee in the sight of all Israel,

that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee.
8.  And thou shalt command the priests that bear the ark of the covenant, saying,

When ye are come to the brink of the water of Jordan, ye shall stand still in Jordan.
9.  And Joshua said unto the children of Israel,

Come hither, and hear the words of the LORD your God.
10.  And Joshua said,

Hereby ye shall know that the living God is among you,

and that he will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Hivites,

and the Perizzites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Jebusites.
11.  Behold, the ark of the covenant of the LORD of all the earth passeth over before you into Jordan.
12.  Now therefore take you twelve men out of the tribes of Israel, out of every tribe a man.
13.  And it shall come to pass,

as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests that bear the ark of the LORD,

the LORD of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of Jordan,

that the waters of Jordan shall be cut off from the waters that come down from above;

and they shall stand upon an heap.
14.  And it came to pass, when the people removed from their tents, to pass over Jordan,

and the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people;
15.  And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan,

and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water,

(for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,)
16.  That the waters

which came down from above stood and rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam,

that is beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain,

even the salt sea, failed, and were cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho.
17.  And the priests

that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of Jordan,

and all the Israelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over Jordan.

7 主はヨシュアに仰せられた。

「きょうから、わたしはイスラエル全体の見ている前で、あなたを大いなる者としよう。

それは、わたしがモーセとともにいたように、あなたとともにいることを、彼らが知るためである。
8 あなたは契約の箱をかつぐ祭司たちに命じてこう言え。

『ヨルダン川の水ぎわに来たとき、あなたがたはヨルダン川の中に立たなければならない。』」
9 ヨシュアはイスラエル人に言った。

「ここに近づき、あなたがたの神、主のことばを聞きなさい。」
10 ヨシュアは言った。

「生ける神があなたがたのうちにおられ、あなたがたの前から、

カナン人、ヘテ人、ヒビ人、ペリジ人、ギルガシ人、エモリ人、エブス人を、

必ず追い払われることを、次のことで知らなければならない。
11 見よ。

全地の主の契約の箱が、あなたがたの先頭に立って、ヨルダン川を渡ろうとしている。
12 今、部族ごとにひとりずつ、イスラエルの部族の中から十二人を選び出しなさい。
13 全地の主である主の箱をかつぐ祭司たちの足の裏が、ヨルダン川の水の中にとどまると、

ヨルダン川の水は、上から流れ下って来る水がせきとめられ、せきをなして立つようになる。」
14 民がヨルダン川を渡るために、天幕を発ったとき、契約の箱をかつぐ祭司たちは民の先頭にいた。
15 箱をかつぐ者がヨルダン川まで来て、箱をかつぐ祭司たちの足が水ぎわに浸ったとき、

—ヨルダン川は刈り入れの間中、岸いっぱいにあるれるのだが—
16 上から流れ下る水はつっ立って、はるかかなたのツァレタンのそばにある町アダムのところで、

せきをなして立ち、アラバの海、すなわち塩の海のほうに流れ下る水は完全にせきとめられた。

民はエリコに面するところを渡った。
17 主の契約の箱をかつぐ祭司たちがヨルダン川の真ん中のかわいた地にしっかりと立つうちに、

イスラエル全体は、かわいた地を通り、ついに民はすべてヨルダン川を渡り終わった。

1.  여호와께 감사하라 그는 선하시며 그 인자하심이 영원함이로다
2.  여호와께 구속함을 받은 자는 이같이 말할지어다

여호와께서 대적의 손에서 저희를 구속하사
3.  동서 남북 각 지방에서부터 모으셨도다
4.  저희가 광야 사막 길에서 방황하며 거할 성을 찾지 못하고
5.  주리고 목마름으로 그 영혼이 속에서 피곤하였도다
6.  이에 저희가 그 근심 중에 여호와께 부르짖으매 그 고통에서 건지시고
7.  또 바른 길로 인도하사 거할 성에 이르게 하셨도다
33.  여호와께서는 강을 변하여 광야가 되게 하시며 샘으로 마른 땅이 되게 하시며
34.  그 거민의 악을 인하여 옥토로 염밭이 되게 하시며
35.  또 광야를 변하여 못이 되게 하시며 마른 땅으로 샘물이 되게 하시고
36.  주린 자로 거기 거하게 하사 저희로 거할 성을 예비케 하시고
37.  밭에 파종하며 포도원을 재배하여 소산을 취케 하시며

1.  O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2.  Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
3.  And gathered them out of the lands,

from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.
4.  They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.
5.  Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
6.  Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.
7.  And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
33.  He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground;
34.  A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.
35.  He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings.
36.  And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;
37.  And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.

1 「主に感謝せよ。主はまことにいつくしみ深い。その恵みはとこしでまで。」
2 主に贖われた者はこのように言え。主は彼らを敵の手から贖い、
3 彼らを国々から、東から、西から、北から、南から、集められた。
4 彼らは荒野や荒れ地をさまよい、住むべき町へ行く道を見つけなかった。
5 飢えと渇きに彼らのたましいは衰え果てた。
6 この苦しみのときに、彼らが主に向かって叫ぶと、主は彼らを苦悩から救い出された。
7 また彼らをまっすぐな道に導き、住むべき町へ行かせられた。
33 主は川を荒野に、水のわき上がる所を潤いのない地に、
34 肥沃な地を不毛の地に変えられる。その住民の悪のために。
35 主は荒野を水のある沢に、砂漠の地を水のわき上がる所に変え、
36 そこに飢えた者を住まわせる。彼らは住むべき町を堅く建て、
37 畑に種を蒔き、ぶどう畑を作り、豊かな実りを得る。

[이 말씀이 또한 너희 믿는 자 속에서 역사하느니라]
9.  형제들아 우리의 수고와 애쓴 것을 너희가 기억하리니

너희 아무에게도 누를 끼치지 아니하려고

밤과 낮으로 일하면서 너희에게 하나님의 복음을 전파하였노라
10.  우리가 너희 믿는 자들을 향하여 어떻게 거룩하고 옳고 흠없이 행한 것에 대하여

너희가 증인이요 하나님도 그러하시도다
11.  너희도 아는 바와 같이

우리가 너희 각 사람에게 아비가 자기 자녀에게 하듯 권면하고 위로하고 경계하노니
12.  이는 너희를 부르사 자기 나라와 영광에 이르게 하시는 하나님께 합당히 행하게 하려 함이니라
13.  이러므로 우리가 하나님께 쉬지 않고 감사함은

너희가 우리에게 들은바 하나님의 말씀을 받을 때에 사람의 말로 아니하고 하나님의 말씀으로 받음이니

진실로 그러하다 이 말씀이 또한 너희 믿는 자 속에서 역사하느니라

9.  For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail:

for labouring night and day, because we would not be chargeable unto any of you,

we preached unto you the gospel of God.
10.  Ye are witnesses, and God also,

how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:
11.  As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children,
12.  That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.
13.  For this cause also thank we God without ceasing,

because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men,

but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

9 兄弟たち。あなたがたは、私たちの労苦と苦闘を覚えているでしょう。

私たちはあなたがたのだれにも負担をかけまいとして、

昼も夜も働きながら、神の福音をあなたがたに宣べ伝えました。
10 また、信者であるあなたがたに対して、私たちが敬虔に、正しく、

また責められるところがないようにふるまったことは、

あなたがたがあかしし、神もあかししてくださることです。
11 また、ご承知のとおり、私たちは父がその子どもに対してするように、あなたがたひとりひとりに、
12 ご自身の御国と栄光とに召してくださる神にふさわしく歩むように勧めをし、

慰めを与え、おごそかに命じました。
13 こういうわけで、私たちとしてもまた、絶えず神に感謝しています。

あなたがたは、私たちから神の使信のことばを受けたとき、

それを人間のことばとしてではなく、事実どおりに神のことばとして受け入れてくれたからです。

この神のことばは、信じているあなたがたのうちに働いているのです。

[서기관들과 바리새인을 꾸짖으시다]
1.  이에 예수께서 무리와 제자들에게 말씀하여 가라사대
2.  서기관들과 바리새인들이 모세의 자리에 앉았으니
3.  그러므로 무엇이든지 저희의 말하는 바는 행하고 지키되 저희의 하는 행위는 본받지 말라

저희는 말만 하고 행치 아니하며
4.  또 무거운 짐을 묶어 사람의 어깨에 지우되 자기는 이것을 한 손가락으로도 움직이려 하지 아니하며
5.  저희 모든 행위를 사람에게 보이고자 하여 하나니 곧 그 차는 경문을 넓게 하며 옷술을 크게 하고
6.  잔치의 상석과 회당의 상좌와
7.  시장에서 문안 받는 것과 사람에게 랍비라 칭함을 받는 것을 좋아하느니라
8.  그러나 너희는 랍비라 칭함을 받지 말라 너희 선생은 하나이요 너희는 다 형제니라
9.  땅에 있는 자를 아비라 하지 말라 너희 아버지는 하나이시니 곧 하늘에 계신 자시니라
10.  또한 지도자라 칭함을 받지 말라 너희 지도자는 하나이니 곧 그리스도니라
11.  너희 중에 큰 자는 너희를 섬기는 자가 되어야 하리라
12.  누구든지 자기를 높이는 자는 낮아지고 누구든지 자기를 낮추는 자는 높아지리라

3.  All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works:

for they say, and do not.
4.  For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders;

but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
5.  But all their works they do for to be seen of men:

they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
6.  And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
7.  And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
8.  But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
9.  And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
10.  Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
11.  But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
12.  And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased;

and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

1 そのとき、イエスは群集と弟子たちに話をして、
2 こう言われた。「律法学者、パリサイ人たちは、モーセの座を占めています。
3 ですから、彼らがあなたがたに言うことはみな、行い、守りなさい。

けれども、彼らの行いをまねてはいけません。

彼らは言うことは言うが、実行しないからです。
4 また、彼らは重い荷をくくって、人の肩に載せ、自分はそれに指一本さわろうとはしません。
5 彼らのしていることはみな、人に見せるためです。

経札の幅を広くしたり、衣のふさを長くしたりするのもそうです。
6 また、宴会の上座や会堂での上座が大好きで、
7 広場であいさつされたり、人から先生と呼ばれたりすることが好きです。
8 しかし、あなたがたは先生と呼ばれてはいけません。

あなたがたの教師はただひとりしかなく、あなたがたはみな兄弟だからです。
9 あなたがたは地上のだれかを、われらの父と呼んではいけません。

あなたがたの父はただひとり、すなわち天にいます父だけだからです。
10 また、師と呼ばれてはいけません。あなたがたの師はただひとり、キリストだからです。
11 あなたがたのうちの一番偉大な者は、あなたがたに仕える人でなければなりません。
12 だれでも、自分を高くする者は低くされ、自分を低くする者は高くされます。
