홍해를 건너다

[홍해를 건너다]
19 이스라엘 진 앞에 행하던 하나님의 사자가 옮겨 그 뒤로 행하매

구름 기둥도 앞에서 그 뒤로 옮겨
20 애굽 진과 이스라엘 진 사이에 이르러 서니 저 편은 구름과 흑암이 있고

이 편은 밤이 광명하므로 밤새도록 저 편이 이 편에 가까이 못하였더라
21 모세가 바다 위로 손을 내어민대

여호와께서 큰 동풍으로 밤새도록 바닷물을 물러가게 하시니

물이 갈라져 바다가 마른 땅이 된 지라
22 이스라엘 자손이 바다 가운데 육지로 행하고 물은 그들의 좌우에 벽이 되니
23 애굽 사람들과 바로의 말들, 병거들과 그 마병들이 다 그 뒤를 쫓아 바다 가운데로 들어 오는지라
24 새벽에 여호와께서 불 구름기둥 가운데서 애굽 군대를 보시고 그 군대를 어지럽게 하시며
25 그 병거 바퀴를 벗겨서 달리기에 극난하게 하시니

애굽 사람들이 가로되

이스라엘 앞에서 우리가 도망하자 여호와가 그들을 위하여 싸워 애굽 사람들을 치는도다
26 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되

네 손을 바다 위로 내어밀어 물이 애굽 사람들과 그 병거들과 마병들 위에 다시 흐르게 하라

하시니
27 모세가 곧 손을 바다 위로 내어밀매 새벽에 미쳐 바다의 그 세력이 회복된지라

애굽 사람들이 물을 거스려 도망하나 여호와께서 애굽 사람들을 바다 가운데 엎으시니
28 물이 다시 흘러 병거들과 기병들을 덮되

그들의 뒤를 쫓아 바다에 들어간 바로의 군대를 다 덮고

하나도 남기지 아니하였더라
29 그러나 이스라엘 자손은 바다 가운데 육지로 행하였고 물이 좌우에 벽이 되었었더라
30 그 날에 여호와께서 이같이 이스라엘을 애굽 사람의 손에서 구원하시매

이스라엘이 바닷가의 애굽 사람의 시체를 보았더라
31 이스라엘이 여호와께서 애굽 사람들에게 베푸신 큰 일을 보았으므로

백성이 여호와를 경외하며 여호와와 그 종 모세를 믿었더라

19 And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them;

and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:
20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel;

and it was a cloud and darkness [to them], but it gave light by night [to these]:

so that the one came not near the other all the night.
21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea;

and the LORD caused the sea to go [back] by a strong east wind all that night,

and made the sea dry [land], and the waters were divided.
22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry [ground]:

and the waters [were] a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.
23 And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea,

[even] all Pharaohs horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.
24 And it came to pass,

that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians

through the pillar of fire and of the cloud,

and troubled the host of the Egyptians,
25 And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily:

so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel;

for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.
26 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea,

that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.
27 And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea,

and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared;

and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.
28 And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen,

[and] all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them;

there remained not so much as one of them.
29 But the children of Israel walked upon dry [land] in the midst of the sea;

and the waters [were] a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.
30 Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians;

and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.
31 And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians:

and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.

19 このとき、イスラエルの部隊の前に行く神の使は移って彼らのうしろに行った。

雲の柱も彼らの前から移って彼らのうしろに立ち、
20 エジプトびとの部隊とイスラエルびとの部隊との間にきたので、

そこに雲とやみがあり夜もすがら、かれとこれと近づくことなく、夜がすぎた。
21 モーセが手を海の上にさし伸べたので、

主は夜もすがら強い東風をもって海を退かせ、海を陸地とされ、水は分かれた。
22 イスラエルの人々は海の中のかわいた地を行ったが、水は彼らの右と左に、かきとなった。
23 エジプトびとは追ってきて、パロのすべての馬と戦車と騎兵とは、彼らのあとについて海の中にはいった。
24 暁の更に、主は火と雲の柱のうちからエジプトびとの軍勢を見おろして、エジプトびとの軍勢を乱し、
25 その戦車の輪をきしらせて、進むのに重くされたので、エジプトびとは言った、

「われわれはイスラエルを離れて逃げよう。主が彼らのためにエジプトびとと戦う」。
26 そのとき主はモーセに言われた、

「あなたの手を海の上にさし伸べて、水をエジプトびとと、その戦車と騎兵との上に流れ返らせなさい」。
27 モーセが手を海の上にさし伸べると、夜明けになって海はいつもの流れに返り、

エジプトびとはこれにむかって逃げたが、主はエジプトびとを海の中に投げ込まれた。
28 水は流れ返り、イスラエルのあとを追って海にはいった戦車と騎兵およびパロのすべての軍勢をおおい、

ひとりも残らなかった。
29 しかし、イスラエルの人々は海の中のかわいた地を行ったが、水は彼らの右と左に、かきとなった。
30 このように、主はこの日イスラエルをエジプトびとの手から救われた。

イスラエルはエジプトびとが海べに死んでいるのを見た。
31 イスラエルはまた、主がエジプトびとに行われた大いなるみわざを見た。

それで民は主を恐れ、主とそのしもべモーセとを信じた。

[요셉이 형들을 위로하다]
15 요셉의 형제들이 그 아비가 죽었음을 보고 말하되

요셉이 혹시 우리를 미워하여 우리가 그에게 행한 모든 악을 다 갚지나 아니할까 하고
16 요셉에게 말을 전하여 가로되 당신의 아버지가 돌아가시기 전에 명하여 이르시기를
17 너희는 이같이 요셉에게 이르라

네 형들이 네게 악을 행하였을지라도 이제 바라건대 그 허물과 죄를 용서하라 하셨다 하라

하셨나니

당신의 아버지의 하나님의 종들의 죄를 이제 용서하소서 하매

요셉이 그 말을 들을 때에 울었더라
18 그 형들이 또 친히 와서 요셉의 앞에 엎드려 가로되 우리는 당신의 종이니이다
19 요셉이 그들에게 이르되 두려워 마소서 내가 하나님을 대신하리이까
20 당신들은 나를 해하려 하였으나

하나님은 그것을 선으로 바꾸사 오늘과 같이 만민의 생명을 구원하게 하시려 하셨나니
21 당신들은 두려워 마소서 내가 당신들과 당신들의 자녀를 기르리이다 하고

그들을 간곡한 말로 위로하였더라

15 And when Josephs brethren saw that their father was dead, they said,

Joseph will peradventure hate us, and will certainly requite us all the evil which we did unto him.
16 And they sent a messenger unto Joseph, saying,

Thy father did command before he died, saying,
17 So shall ye say unto Joseph,

Forgive, I pray thee now, the trespass of thy brethren, and their sin;

for they did unto thee evil:

and now, we pray thee, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of thy father.

And Joseph wept when they spake unto him.
18 And his brethren also went and fell down before his face;

and they said, Behold, we [be] thy servants.
19 And Joseph said unto them, Fear not:

for [am] I in the place of God?
20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me;

[but] God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as [it is] this day, to save much people alive.
21 Now therefore fear ye not:

I will nourish you, and your little ones.

And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them.

15 ヨセフの兄弟たちは父の死んだのを見て言った、

「ヨセフはことによるとわれわれを憎んで、

われわれが彼にしたすべての悪に、仕返しするに違いない」。
16 そこで彼らはことづけしてヨセフに言った、

「あなたの父は死ぬ前に命じて言われました、
17 『おまえたちはヨセフに言いなさい、

「あなたの兄弟たちはあなたに悪をおこなったが、

どうかそのとがと罪をゆるしてやってください」』。

今どうかあなたの父の神に仕えるしもべらのとがをゆるしてください」。

ヨセフはこの言葉を聞いて泣いた。
18 やがて兄弟たちもきて、彼の前に伏して言った、

「このとおり、わたしたちはあなたのしもべです」。
19 ヨセフは彼らに言った、

「恐れることはいりません。わたしが神に代ることができましょうか。
20 あなたがたはわたしに対して悪をたくらんだが、

神はそれを良きに変らせて、今日のように多くの民の命を救おうと計らわれました。
21 それゆえ恐れることはいりません。

わたしはあなたがたとあなたがたの子供たちを養いましょう」。

彼は彼らを慰めて、親切に語った。

1 이스라엘이 애굽에서 나오며 야곱의 집이 방언 다른 민족에게서 나올 때에
2 유다는 여호와의 성소가 되고 이스라엘은 그의 영토가 되었도다
3 바다는 이를 보고 도망하며 요단은 물러갔으며
4 산들은 수양 같이 뛰놀며 작은 산들은 어린 양 같이 뛰었도다
5 바다야 네가 도망함은 어찜이며 요단아 네가 물러감은 어찜인고

1 When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;
2 Judah was his sanctuary, [and] Israel his dominion.
3 The sea saw [it], and fled: Jordan was driven back.
4 The mountains skipped like rams, [and] the little hills like lambs.
5 What [ailed] thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, [that] thou wast driven back?
6 Ye mountains, [that] ye skipped like rams; [and] ye little hills, like lambs?
7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;
8 Which turned the rock [into] a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

1 イスラエルがエジプトをいで、ヤコブの家が異言の民を離れたとき、
2 ユダは主の聖所となり、イスラエルは主の所領となった。
3 海はこれを見て逃げ、ヨルダンはうしろに退き、
4 山は雄羊のように踊り、小山は小羊のように踊った。
5 海よ、おまえはどうして逃げるのか、ヨルダンよ、おまえはどうしてうしろに退くのか。
6 山よ、おまえたちはどうして雄羊のように踊るのか、

小山よ、おまえたちはどうして小羊のように踊るのか。
7 地よ、主のみ前におののけ、ヤコブの神のみ前におののけ。

1 내가 여호와를 찬송하리니 그는 높고 영화로우심이요 말과 그 탄자를 바다에 던지셨음이로다
2 여호와는 나의 힘이요 노래시며 나의 구원이시로다

그는 나의 하나님이시니 내가 그를 찬송할 것이요 내 아비의 하나님이시니 내가 그를 높이리로다
3 여호와는 용사시니 여호와는 그의 이름이시로다
4 그가 바로의 병거와 그 군대를 바다에 던지시니 그 택한 장관이 홍해에 잠겼고
5 큰 물이 그들을 덮으니 그들이 돌처럼 깊음에 내렸도다
6 여호와여 주의 오른손이 권능으로 영광을 나타내시니이다

여호와여 주의 오른손이 원수를 부수시니이다
7 주께서 주의 큰 위엄으로 주를 거스리는 자를 엎으시나이다

20 아론의 누이 선지자 미리암이 손에 소고를 잡으매

모든 여인도 그를 따라 나오며 소고를 잡고 춤추니

너희는 여호와를 찬송하라

그는 높고 영화로우심이요 말과 그 탄 자를 바다에 던지셨음이로다

1 I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously:

the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
2 The LORD [is] my strength and song, and he is become my salvation:

he [is] my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my fathers God, and I will exalt him.
3 The LORD [is] a man of war: the LORD [is] his name.
4 Pharaohs chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea:

his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea.
5 The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.
6 Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power:

thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.
7 And in the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee:

thou sentest forth thy wrath, [which] consumed them as stubble.

9 The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil;

my lust shall be satisfied upon them;

10 Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters.
11 Who [is] like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods?

who [is] like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful [in] praises, doing wonders?
20 And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand;

and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.
21 And Miriam answered them,

Sing ye to the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously;

the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.

1 「主にむかってわたしは歌おう、／彼は輝かしくも勝ちを得られた、

／彼は馬と乗り手を海に投げ込まれた。
2 主はわたしの力また歌、わたしの救となられた、／彼こそわたしの神、わたしは彼をたたえる、

／だれがあなたのように、聖にして栄えあるもの、

／ほむべくして恐るべきもの、／くすしきわざを行うものであろうか。

アロンの姉、女預言者ミリアムはタンバリンを手に取り、女たちも皆タンバリンを取って、

踊りながら、そのあとに従って出てきた。
21 そこでミリアムは彼らに和して歌った、

／「主にむかって歌え、／彼は輝かしくも勝ちを得られた、／彼は馬と乗り手を海に投げ込まれた」。

1 내 영혼아 여호와를 송축하라 내 속에 있는 것들아 다 그 성호를 송축하라
2 내 영혼아 여호와를 송축하며 그 모든 은택을 잊지 말지어다
3 저가 네 모든 죄악을 사하시며 네 모든 병을 고치시며
4 네 생명을 파멸에서 구속하시고 인자와 긍휼로 관을 씌우시며

11 이는 하늘이 땅에서 높음 같이 그를 경외하는 자에게 그 인자하심이 크심이로다
12 동이 서에서 먼 것 같이 우리 죄과를 우리에게서 멀리 옮기셨으며
13 아비가 자식을 불쌍히 여김 같이 여호와께서 자기를 경외하는 자를 불쌍히 여기시나니

1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, [bless] his holy name.
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction;

who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good [things; so that] thy youth is renewed like the eagles.
6 The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

13 Like as a father pitieth [his] children, [so] the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

1 わがたましいよ、主をほめよ。わがうちなるすべてのものよ、その聖なるみ名をほめよ。
2 わがたましいよ、主をほめよ。そのすべてのめぐみを心にとめよ。
3 主はあなたのすべての不義をゆるし、あなたのすべての病をいやし、
4 あなたのいのちを墓からあがないいだし、いつくしみと、あわれみとをあなたにこうむらせ、
5 あなたの生きながらえるかぎり、良き物をもってあなたを飽き足らせられる。

こうしてあなたは若返って、わしのように新たになる。
6 主はすべてしえたげられる者のために／正義と公正とを行われる。
7 主はおのれの道をモーセに知らせ、おのれのしわざをイスラエルの人々に知らせられた。
8 主はあわれみに富み、めぐみふかく、怒ること遅く、いつくしみ豊かでいらせられる。
9 主は常に責めることをせず、また、とこしえに怒りをいだかれない。
10 主はわれらの罪にしたがってわれらをあしらわず、われらの不義にしたがって報いられない。
11 天が地よりも高いように、主がおのれを恐れる者に賜わるいつくしみは大きい、
12 東が西から遠いように、主はわれらのとがをわれらから遠ざけられる。
13 父がその子供をあわれむように、主はおのれを恐れる者をあわれまれる。

[형제를 판단하지 말라]
1 믿음이 연약한 자를 너희가 받되 그의 의심하는 바를 비판하지 말라
2 어떤 사람은 모든 것을 먹을만한 믿음이 있고 연약한 자는 채소를 먹느니라
3 먹는 자는 먹지 않는 자를 업신여기지 말고 먹지 못하는 자는 먹는 자를 판단하지 말라

이는 하나님이 저를 받으셨음이니라
4 남의 하인을 판단하는 너는 누구뇨

그 섰는 것이나 넘어지는 것이 제 주인에게 있으매 저가 세움을 받으리니

이는 저를 세우시는 권능이 주께 있음이니라
5 혹은 이날을 저 날보다 낫게 여기고 혹은 모든 날을 같게 여기나니

각각 자기 마음에 확정할찌니라
6 날을 중히 여기는 자도 주를 위하여 중히 여기고 먹는 자도 주를 위하여 먹으니

이는 하나님께 감사함이요 먹지 않는 자도 주를 위하여 먹지 아니 하며 하나님께 감사하느니라
7 우리 중에 누구든지 자기를 위하여 사는 자가 없고 자기를 위하여 죽는 자도 없도다
8 우리가 살아도 주를 위하여 살고 죽어도 주를 위하여 죽나니

그러므로 사나 죽으나 우리가 주의 것이로라
9 이를 위하여 그리스도께서 죽었다가 다시 살으셨으니 곧 죽은 자와 산 자의 주가 되려 하심이니라
10 네가 어찌하여 네 형제를 판단하느뇨 어찌하여 네 형제를 업신여기느뇨

우리가 다 하나님의 심판대 앞에 서리라
11 기록되었으되 주께서 가라사대

내가 살았노니 모든 무릎이 내게 꿇을 것이요 모든 혀가 하나님께 자백하리라 하였느니라
12 이러므로 우리 각인이 자기 일을 하나님께 직고하리라

1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, [but] not to doubtful disputations.
2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not;

and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth:

for God hath received him.
4 Who art thou that judgest another mans servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth.

Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day [alike].

Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth [it] unto the Lord;

and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard [it].

He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks;

and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord;

and whether we die, we die unto the Lord:

whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lords.
9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived,

that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother?

for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
11 For it is written, [As] I live, saith the Lord,

every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

1 信仰の弱い者を受けいれなさい。ただ、意見を批評するためであってはならない。
2 ある人は、何を食べてもさしつかえないと信じているが、弱い人は野菜だけを食べる。
3 食べる者は食べない者を軽んじてはならず、食べない者も食べる者をさばいてはならない。

神は彼を受けいれて下さったのであるから。
4 他人の僕をさばくあなたは、いったい、何者であるか。

彼が立つのも倒れるのも、その主人によるのである。

しかし、彼は立つようになる。主は彼を立たせることができるからである。
5 また、ある人は、この日がかの日よりも大事であると考え、ほかの人はどの日も同じだと考える。

各自はそれぞれ心の中で、確信を持っておるべきである。
6 日を重んじる者は、主のために重んじる。

また食べる者も主のために食べる。神に感謝して食べるからである。

食べない者も主のために食べない。

そして、神に感謝する。
7 すなわち、

わたしたちのうち、だれひとり自分のために生きる者はなく、だれひとり自分のために死ぬ者はない。
8 わたしたちは、生きるのも主のために生き、死ぬのも主のために死ぬ。

だから、生きるにしても死ぬにしても、わたしたちは主のものなのである。
9 なぜなら、キリストは、死者と生者との主となるために、死んで生き返られたからである。
10 それだのに、あなたは、なぜ兄弟をさばくのか。

あなたは、なぜ兄弟を軽んじるのか。

わたしたちはみな、神のさばきの座の前に立つのである。
11 すなわち、

／「主が言われる。わたしは生きている。

すべてのひざは、わたしに対してかがみ、／すべての舌は、神にさんびをささげるであろう」

／と書いてある。
12 だから、わたしたちひとりびとりは、神に対して自分の言いひらきをすべきである。

21 그 때에 베드로가 나아와 가로되

주여 형제가 내게 죄를 범하면 몇번이나 용서하여 주리이까 일곱번까지 하오리이까
22 예수께서 가라사대 네게 이르노니 일곱번 뿐 아니라 일흔번씩 일곱번이라도 할지니라
23 이러므로 천국은 그 종들과 회계하려 하던 어떤 임금과 같으니
24 회계할 때에 일만 달란트 빚진 자 하나를 데려오매
25 갚을 것이 없는지라 주인이 명하여 그 몸과 처와 자식들과 모든 소유를 다 팔아 갚게 하라 한대
26 그 종이 엎드리어 절하며 가로되 내게 참으소서 다 갚으리이다 하거늘
27 그 종의 주인이 불쌍히 여겨 놓아 보내며 그 빚을 탕감하여 주었더니

30 허락하지 아니하고 이에 가서 저가 빚을 갚도록 옥에 가두거늘

32 이에 주인이 저를 불러다가 말하되 악한 종아 네가 빌기에 내가 네 빚을 전부 탕감하여 주었거늘
33 내가 너를 불쌍히 여김과 같이 너도 네 동관을 불쌍히 여김이 마땅치 아니하냐 하고
34 주인이 노하여 그 빚을 다 갚도록 저를 옥졸들에게 붙이니라
35 너희가 각각 중심으로 형제를 용서하지 아니하면 내 천부께서도 너희에게 이와 같이 하시리라

21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord,

how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
23 Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king,

which would take account of his servants.
24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him,

which owed him ten thousand talents.
25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay,

his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children,

and all that he had, and payment to be made.
26 The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying,

Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion,

and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.
28 But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants,

which owed him an hundred pence:

and he laid hands on him, and took [him] by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.
29 And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying,

Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
30 And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.
31 So when his fellowservants saw what was done,

they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.
32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him,

O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:
33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant,

even as I had pity on thee?
34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors,

till he should pay all that was due unto him.
35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you,

if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

21 そのとき、ペテロがイエスのもとにきて言った、

「主よ、兄弟がわたしに対して罪を犯した場合、幾たびゆるさねばなりませんか。七たびまでですか」。
22 イエスは彼に言われた、

「わたしは七たびまでとは言わない。七たびを七十倍するまでにしなさい。
23 それだから、天国は王が僕たちと決算をするようなものだ。
24 決算が始まると、一万タラントの負債のある者が、王のところに連れられてきた。
25 しかし、返せなかったので、

主人は、その人自身とその妻子と持ち物全部とを売って返すように命じた。
26 そこで、この僕はひれ伏して哀願した、

『どうぞお待ちください。全部お返しいたしますから』。
27 僕の主人はあわれに思って、彼をゆるし、その負債を免じてやった。
28 その僕が出て行くと、

百デナリを貸しているひとりの仲間に出会い、彼をつかまえ、首をしめて『借金を返せ』と言った。
29 そこでこの仲間はひれ伏し、『どうか待ってくれ。返すから』と言って頼んだ。
30 しかし承知せずに、その人をひっぱって行って、借金を返すまで獄に入れた。
31 その人の仲間たちは、この様子を見て、非常に心をいため、行ってそのことをのこらず主人に話した。
32 そこでこの主人は彼を呼びつけて言った、

『悪い僕、わたしに願ったからこそ、あの負債を全部ゆるしてやったのだ。
33 わたしがあわれんでやったように、あの仲間をあわれんでやるべきではなかったか』。
34 そして主人は立腹して、負債全部を返してしまうまで、彼を獄吏に引きわたした。
35 あなたがためいめいも、もし心から兄弟をゆるさないならば、

わたしの天の父もまたあなたがたに対して、そのようになさるであろう」。
