[이 족속이 저 족속보다 강하겠고 큰 자는 어린 자를 섬기리라]
19.  아브라함의 아들 이삭의 후예는 이러하니라

아브라함이 이삭을 낳았고
20.  이삭은 사십세에 리브가를 취하여 아내를 삼았으니

리브가는 밧단 아람의 아람 족속 중 브두엘의 딸이요 아람 족속중 라반의 누이였더라
21.  이삭이 그 아내가 잉태하지 못하므로 그를 위하여 여호와께 간구하매

여호와께서 그 간구를 들으셨으므로 그 아내 리브가가 잉태하였더니
22.  아이들이 그의 태 속에서 서로 싸우는지라

그가 가로되 이같으면 내가 어찌할꼬 하고 가서 여호와께 묻자온대
23.  여호와께서 그에게 이르시되 두 국민이 네 태중에 있구나

두 민족이 네 복중에서부터 나누이리라

이 족속이 저 족속보다 강하겠고 큰 자는 어린 자를 섬기리라 하셨더라
24.  그 해산 기한이 찬즉 태에 쌍동이가 있었는데
25.  먼저 나온 자는 붉고 전신이 갖옷 같아서 이름을 에서라 하였고
26.  후에 나온 아우는 손으로 에서의 발꿈치를 잡았으므로 그 이름을 야곱이라 하였으며

리브가가 그들을 낳을 때에 이삭이 육십 세이었더라

[에서가 장자의 명분을 팔다]
27.  그 아이들이 장성하매

에서는 익숙한 사냥군인고로 들사람이 되고 야곱은 종용한 사람인고로 장막에 거하니
28.  이삭은 에서의 사냥한 고기를 좋아하므로 그를 사랑하고 리브가는 야곱을 사랑하였더라
29.  야곱이 죽을 쑤었더니 에서가 들에서부터 돌아와서 심히 곤비하여
30.  야곱에게 이르되 내가 곤비하니 그 붉은 것을 나로 먹게 하라 한지라

그러므로 에서의 별명은 에돔이더라
31.  야곱이 가로되 형의 장자의 명분을 오늘날 내게 팔라
32.  에서가 가로되 내가 죽게 되었으니 이 장자의 명분이 내게 무엇이 유익하리요
33.  야곱이 가로되 오늘 내게 맹세하라 에서가 맹세하고 장자의 명분을 야곱에게 판지라
34.  야곱이 떡과 팥죽을 에서에게 주매 에서가 먹으며 마시고 일어나서 갔으니

에서가 장자의 명분을 경홀히 여김이었더라

19.  And these are the generations of Isaac, Abraham's son:

Abraham begat Isaac:
20.  And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife,

the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padanaram, the sister to Laban the Syrian.
21.  And Isaac entreated the LORD for his wife,

because she was barren: and the LORD was entreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
22.  And the children struggled together within her; and she said,

If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to inquire of the LORD.
23.  And the LORD said unto her,

Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels;

and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
24.  And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.
25.  And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.
26.  And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel;

and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.
27.  And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field;

and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents.
28.  And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.
29.  And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint:
30.  And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage;

for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.
31.  And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright.
32.  And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?
33.  And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him:

and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.
34.  Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentils;

and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way:

thus Esau despised his birthright.

19 これはアブラハムの子イサクの歴史である。アブラハムはイサクを生んだ。
20 イサクが、パダン・アラムのアラム人ベトエルの娘で、

アラム人ラバンの妹であるリベカを妻にめとったときは、四十歳であった。
21 イサクは自分の妻のために主に祈願した。彼女が不妊の女であったからである。

主は彼の祈りに答えられた。それで彼の妻リベカはみごもった。
22 子どもたちが彼女の腹の中でぶつかり合うようになったとき、

彼女は、「こんなことでは、いったいどうなるのでしょう。私は」と言った。

そして主のみこころを求めに行った。
23 すると主は彼女に仰せられた。

「二つの国があなたの胎内にあり、二つの国民があなたから分かれ出る。

一つの国民は他の国民より強く、兄が弟に仕える。」
24 出産の時が満ちると、見よ、ふたごが胎内にいた。
25 最初に出て来た子は、赤くて、全身毛衣のようであった。それでその子をエサウと名づけた。
26 そのあとで弟が出て来たが、その手はエサウのかかとをつかんでいた。

それでその子をヤコブと名づけた。イサクは彼らを生んだとき、六十歳であった。
27 この子どもたちが成長したとき、エサウは巧みな猟師、野の人となり、

ヤコブは穏やかな人となり、天幕に住んでいた。
28 イサクはエサウを愛していた。それは彼が猟の獲物を好んでいたからである。

リベカはヤコブを愛していた。
29 さて、ヤコブが煮物を煮ているとき、エサウが飢え疲れて野から帰って来た。
30 エサウはヤコブに言った。

「どうか、その赤いのを、そこの赤い物を私に食べさせてくれ。私は飢え疲れているのだから。」

それゆえ、彼の名はエドムと呼ばれた。
31 するとヤコブは、「今すぐ、あなたの長子の権利を私に売りなさい」と言った。
32 エサウは、「見てくれ。死にそうなのだ。長子の権利など、今の私に何になろう」と言った。
33 それでヤコブは、「まず、私に誓いなさい」と言ったので、

エサウはヤコブに誓った。こうして彼の長子の権利をヤコブに売った。
34 ヤコブはエサウにパンとレンズ豆の煮物を与えたので、エサウは食べたり、飲んだりして、立ち去った。

こうしてエサウは長子の権利を軽蔑したのである。

105.  주의 말씀은 내 발에 등이요 내 길에 빛이니이다
106.  주의 의로운 규례를 지키기로 맹세하고 굳게 정하였나이다
107.  나의 고난이 막심하오니 여호와여 주의 말씀대로 나를 소성케 하소서
108.  여호와여 구하오니 내 입의 낙헌제를 받으시고 주의 규례로 나를 가르치소서
109.  나의 생명이 항상 위경에 있사오나 주의 법은 잊지 아니하나이다
110.  악인이 나를 해하려고 올무를 놓았사오나 나는 주의 법도에서 떠나지 아니하였나이다
111.  주의 증거로 내가 영원히 기업을 삼았사오니 이는 내 마음의 즐거움이 됨이니이다
112.  내가 주의 율례를 길이 끝까지 행하려고 내 마음을 기울였나이다

105.  Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
106.  I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.
107.  I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word.
108.  Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments.
109.  My soul is continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law.
110.  The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts.
111.  Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
112.  I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes alway, even unto the end.

105 あなたのみことばは、私の足のともしび、私の道の光です。
106 私は誓い、そして果たしてきました。あなたの義のさばきを守ることを。
107 私はひどく悩んでいます。主よ。みことばのとおりに私を生かしてください。
108 どうか、私の口の進んでささげるささげ物を受け入れてください。

主よ。あなたのさばきを私に教えてください。
109 私は、いつもいのちがけでいなければなりません。しかし私は、あなたのみおしえを忘れません。
110 悪者は私に対してわなを設けました。しかし私は、あなたの戒めから迷い出ませんでした。

[성령이 생명을 주시다]
1.  그러므로 이제 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 자에게는 결코 정죄함이 없나니
2.  이는 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 생명의 성령의 법이 죄와 사망의 법에서 너를 해방하였음이라
3.  율법이 육신으로 말미암아 연약하여 할 수 없는 그것을 하나님은 하시나니

곧 죄를 인하여 자기 아들을 죄 있는 육신의 모양으로 보내어 육신에 죄를 정하사
4.  육신을 좇지 않고 그 영을 좇아 행하는 우리에게 율법의 요구를 이루어지게 하려 하심이니라
5.  육신을 좇는 자는 육신의 일을 영을 좇는 자는 영의 일을 생각하나니
6.  육신의 생각은 사망이요 영의 생각은 생명과 평안이니라
7.  육신의 생각은 하나님과 원수가 되나니

이는 하나님의 법에 굴복치 아니할뿐 아니라 할 수도 없음이라
8.  육신에 있는 자들은 하나님을 기쁘시게 할 수 없느니라
9.  만일 너희 속에 하나님의 영이 거하시면 너희가 육신에 있지 아니하고 영에 있나니

누구든지 그리스도의 영이 없으면 그리스도의 사람이 아니라
10.  또 그리스도께서 너희 안에 계시면 몸은 죄로 인하여 죽은 것이나 영은 의를 인하여 산 것이니라
11.  예수를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 이의 영이 너희 안에 거하시면

그리스도 예수를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 이가

너희 안에 거하시는 그의 영으로 말미암아 너희 죽을 몸도 살리시리라

1.  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus,

who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2.  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3.  For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh,

God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4.  That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us,

who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
5.  For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh;

but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6.  For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7.  Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:

for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8.  So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9.  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.

Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10.  And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin;

but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11.  But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you,

he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

1 こういうわけで、今は、キリスト・イエスにある者が罪に定められることは決してありません。
2 なぜなら、キリスト・イエスにある、いのちの御霊の原理が、

罪と死の原理から、あなたを解放したからです。
3 肉によって無力になったため、律法にはできなくなっていることを、神はしてくださいました。

神はご自分の御子を、罪のために、

罪深い肉と同じような形でお遣わしになり、肉において罪を処罰されたのです。
4 それは、肉に従って歩まず、御霊に従って歩む私たちの中に、律法の要求が全うされるためなのです。
5 肉に従う者は肉的なことをもっぱら考えますが、御霊に従う者は御霊に属することをひたすら考えます。
6 肉の思いは死であり、御霊による思いは、いのちと平安です。
7 というのは、肉の思いは神に対して反抗するものだからです。

それは神の律法に服従しません。

いや、服従できないのです。
8 肉にある者は神を喜ばせることができません。
9 けれども、もし神の御霊があなたがたのうちに住んでおられるなら、

あなたがたは肉の中にではなく、御霊の中にいるのです。

キリストの御霊を持たない人は、キリストのものではありません。
10 もしキリストがあなたがたのうちにおられるなら、

からだは罪のゆえに死んでいても、霊が、義のゆえに生きています。
11 もしイエスを死者の中からよみがえらせた方の御霊が、あなたがたのうちに住んでおられるなら、

キリスト・イエスを死者の中からよみがえらせた方は、あなたがたのうちに住んでおられる御霊によって、

あなたがたの死ぬべきからだをも生かしてくださるのです。

[네 가지 땅에 뿌려진 씨 비유]
1.  그 날에 예수께서 집에서 나가사 바닷가에 앉으시매
2.  큰 무리가 그에게로 모여 들거늘 예수께서 배에 올라가 앉으시고 온 무리는 해변에 섰더니
3.  예수께서 비유로 여러가지를 저희에게 말씀하여 가라사대 씨를 뿌리는 자가 뿌리러 나가서
4.  뿌릴쌔 더러는 길 가에 떨어지매 새들이 와서 먹어버렸고
5.  더러는 흙이 얇은 돌밭에 떨어지매 흙이 깊지 아니하므로 곧 싹이 나오나
6.  해가 돋은 후에 타져서 뿌리가 없으므로 말랐고
7.  더러는 가시떨기 위에 떨어지매 가시가 자라서 기운을 막았고
8.  더러는 좋은 땅에 떨어지매 혹 백배, 혹 육십배, 혹 삼십배의 결실을 하였느니라
9.  귀 있는 자는 들으라 하시니라

18.  그런즉 씨 뿌리는 비유를 들으라
19.  아무나 천국 말씀을 듣고 깨닫지 못할 때는

악한 자가 와서 그 마음에 뿌리운 것을 빼앗나니 이는 곧 길가에 뿌리운 자요
20.  돌밭에 뿌리웠다는 것은 말씀을 듣고 즉시 기쁨으로 받되
21.  그 속에 뿌리가 없어 잠시 견디다가 말씀을 인하여 환난이나 핍박이 일어나는 때에는 곧 넘어지는 자요
22.  가시떨기에 뿌리웠다는 것은 말씀을 들으나

세상의 염려와 재리의 유혹에 말씀이 막혀 결실치 못하는 자요
23.  좋은 땅에 뿌리웠다는 것은 말씀을 듣고 깨닫는 자니

결실하여 혹 백배, 혹 육십배, 혹 삼십 배가 되느니라 하시더라

1.  The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.
2.  And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat;

and the whole multitude stood on the shore.
3.  And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;
4.  And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:
5.  Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth:

and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:

7.  And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:
8.  But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

18.  Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
19.  When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one,

and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
20.  But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word,

and anon with joy receiveth it;
21.  Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while:

for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
22.  He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world,

and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
23.  But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it;

which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

1 その日、イエスは家を出て、湖のほとりにすわっておられた。
2 すると、大ぜいの群集がみもとに集まったので、イエスは舟に移って腰をおろされた。

それで群集はみな浜に立っていた。
3 イエスは多くのことを、彼らにたとえで話して聞かされた。「種を蒔く人が種蒔きに出かけた。
4 蒔いているとき、道ばたに落ちた種があった。すると鳥が来て食べてしまった。
5 また、別の種が土の薄い岩地に落ちた、土が深くなかったので、すぐに芽を出した。
6 しかし、日が上ると、焼けて、根がないために枯れてしまった。
7 また、別の種はいばらの中に落ちたが、いばらが伸びて、ふさいでしまった。
8 別の種は良い地に落ちて、あるものは百倍、あるものは六十倍、あるものは三十倍の実を結んだ。
9 耳のあるものは聞きなさい。」

18 ですから、種蒔きのたとえを聞きなさい。
19 御国のことばを聞いても悟らないと、悪い者が来て、その人の心に蒔かれたものを奪って行きます。

道ばたに蒔かれるとは、このような人のことです。
20 また岩地に蒔かれるとは、みことばを聞くと、すぐに喜んで受け入れる人のことです。
21 しかし、自分のうちに根がないため、しばらくの間そうするだけで、

みことばのために困難や迫害が起こると、すぐにつまずいてしまいます。
22 また、いばらの中に蒔かれるとは、

みことばを聞くが、この世の心づかいと富の惑わしとがみことばをふさぐため、実を結ばない人のことです。
23 ところが、良い地に蒔かれるとは、

みことばを聞いてそれを悟る人のことで、その人はほんとうに実を結び、

あるものは百倍、あるものは六十倍、あるものは三十倍の実を結びます。」
