[하나님을 신뢰함이 구원의 길]

8.이제 가서 백성 앞에서 서판에 기록하며 책에 써서 후세에 영영히 있게 하라
9.대저 이는 패역한 백성이요 거짓말 하는 자식이요 여호와의 법을 듣기 싫어하는 자식이라
10.그들이 선견자에게 이르기를 선견하지 말라

선지자에게 이르기를 우리에게 정직한 것을 보이지 말라 부드러운 말을 하라 거짓된 것을 보이라
11.너희는 정로를 버리며 첩경에서 돌이키라

이스라엘의 거룩하신 자로 우리 앞에서 떠나시게 하라 하는도다
12.이러므로 이스라엘의 거룩하신 자가 말씀하시되

너희가 이 말을 업신여기고 압박과 허망을 믿어 그것에 의뢰하니
13.이 죄악이

너희로 마치 무너지게 된 높은 담이 불쑥 나와 경각간에 홀연히 무너짐 같게 하리라 하셨은즉
14.그가 이 나라를 훼파하시되

토기장이가 그릇을 훼파함 같이 아낌이 없이 파쇄하시리니

그 조각 중에서, 아궁이에서 불을 취하거나 물웅덩이에서 물을 뜰 것도 얻지 못하리라
15.주 여호와 이스라엘의 거룩하신 자가 말씀하시되

너희가 돌이켜 안연히 처하여야 구원을 얻을 것이요

잠잠하고 신뢰하여야 힘을 얻을 것이어늘 너희가 원치 아니하고
16.이르기를 아니라 우리가 말 타고 도망하리라 한고로 너희가 도망할 것이요

또 이르기를 우리가 빠른 짐승을 타리라 한고로 너희를 쫓는 자가 빠르리니
17.한 사람이 꾸짖은즉 천 사람이 도망하겠고 다섯이 꾸짖은즉 너희가 다 도망하고

너희 남은 자는 겨우 산꼭대기의 깃대 같겠고 영 위의 기호 같으리라 하셨느니라
18.그러나 여호와께서 기다리시나니 이는 너희에게 은혜를 베풀려 하심이요

일어나시리니 이는 너희를 긍휼히 여기려 하심이라

대저 여호와는 공의의 하나님이심이라

무릇 그를 기다리는 자는 복이 있도다
[사 30:8-18]

8.Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book,

that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:
9.That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD:
10.Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets,

Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:
11.Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path,

cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.
12.Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel,

Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:
13.Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall,

swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.
14.And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters' vessel that is broken in pieces;

he shall not spare:

so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth,

or to take water withal out of the pit.
15.For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel;

In returning and rest shall ye be saved;

in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength:

and ye would not.
16.But ye said, No;

for we will flee upon horses;

therefore shall ye flee:

and, We will ride upon the swift;

therefore shall they that pursue you be swift.
17.One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one;

at the rebuke of five shall ye flee:

till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill.
18.And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you,

and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you:

for the LORD is a God of judgment:

blessed are all they that wait for him.

8.今，行って，これを彼らの前で板に書き，書物にこれを書きしるし，後の日のためとせよ．

代々限りなく．
9.彼らは 反逆の 民， うそつきの 子ら， 主のおしえを 聞こうとしない 子らだから．

「あなたがたはわたしの言うことをないがしろにし，しいたげと惡巧みに據り賴み，これにたよった．
13.それゆえ， このあなたがたの 不義は，

そそり 立つ 城壁に 廣がって 今にもそれを 倒す 裂け 目のようになる．

それは， にわかに， 急に， 破滅をもたらす．
14.その 破滅は， 陶器師のつぼが 容赦なく 打ち 砕かれるときのような 破滅．

その 破片で， 爐から 火を 集め， 水ためから 水を 汲むほどのかけらさえ 見いだされない．」
15.神である 主， イスラエル の 聖なる 方は， こう 仰せられる．

「立ち返って靜かにすれば，あなたがたは救われ，落ち着いて，信賴すれば，あなたがたは力を得る．」

 しかし， あなたがたは， これを 望まなかった．
16.あなたがたは 言った． 「いや， 私たちは 馬に 乘って 逃げよう． 」

 それなら， あなたがたは 逃げてみよ． 「私たちは 早馬に 乘って． 」

 それなら， あなたがたの 追っ 手はなお 速い．
17.ひとりのおどしによって 千人が 逃げ， 五人のおどしによってあなたがたが 逃げ，

ついに， 山の 頂の 旗ざお， 丘の 上の 旗ぐらいしか 殘るまい．
18.それゆえ，主はあなたがたに惠もうと待っておられ，あなたがたをあわれもうと立ち上がられる．

여호와께서 대적의 손에서 저희를 구속하사

17.미련한 자는 저희 범과와 죄악의 연고로 곤난을 당하매

1.O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2.Let the redeemed of the LORD say so,

whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
3.And gathered them out of the lands,

from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.

17.Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
18.Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat;

and they draw near unto the gates of death.
19.Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble,

and he saveth them out of their distresses.
20.He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
21.Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness,

and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

and declare his works with rejoicing.

[사데 교회에 보낸 편지]

1.사데 교회의 사자에게 편지하기를

하나님의 일곱 영과 일곱 별을 가진이가 가라사대

내가 네 행위를 아노니 네가 살았다 하는 이름은 가졌으나 죽은 자로다
2.너는 일깨워 그 남은바 죽게 된 것을 굳게 하라

내 하나님 앞에 네 행위의 온전한 것을 찾지 못하였노니
3.그러므로 네가 어떻게 받았으며 어떻게 들었는지 생각하고 지키어 회개하라

만일 일깨지 아니하면 내가 도적 같이 이르리니 어느 시에 네게 임할는지 네가 알지 못하리라
4.그러나 사데에 그 옷을 더럽히지 아니한 자 몇명이 네게 있어

흰 옷을 입고 나와 함께 다니리니그들은 합당한 자인 연고라
5.이기는 자는 이와 같이 흰 옷을 입을 것이요

내가 그 이름을 생명책에서 반드시 흐리지 아니하고

그 이름을 내 아버지 앞과 그 천사들 앞에서 시인하리라
6.귀 있는 자는 성령이 교회들에게 하시는 말씀을 들을찌어다
[계 3:1-6]

1.And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write;

These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars;

I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
2.Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die:

for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
3.Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent.

If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief,

and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
4.Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments;

and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
5.He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment;

and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life,

but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
6.He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

13.화 있을찐저 외식하는 서기관들과 바리새인들이여

너희는 천국 문을 사람들 앞에서 닫고 너희도 들어가지 않고

들어가려 하는 자도 들어가지 못하게 하는도다

15.화 있을찐저 외식하는 서기관들과 바리새인들이여

너희는 교인 하나를 얻기 위하여 바다와 육지를 두루 다니다가

생기면 너희보다 배나 더 지옥 자식이 되게 하는도다
16.화 있을찐저 소경된 인도자여

너희가 말하되

누구든지 성전으로 맹세하면 아무 일 없거니와 성전의 금으로 맹세하면 지킬찌라 하는도다
17.우맹이요 소경들이여 어느 것이 크뇨

그 금이냐 금을 거룩하게 하는 성전이냐
18.너희가 또 이르되

누구든지 제단으로 맹세하면 아무 일 없거니와

그 위에 있는 예물로 맹세하면 지킬찌라 하는도다
19.소경들이여 어느 것이 크뇨 그 예물이냐 예물을 거룩하게 하는 제단이냐
20.그러므로 제단으로 맹세하는 자는 제단과 그 위에 있는 모든 것으로 맹세함이요
21.또 성전으로 맹세하는 자는 성전과 그 안에 계신 이로 맹세함이요
22.또 하늘로 맹세하는 자는 하나님의 보좌와 그 위에 앉으신 이로 맹세함이니라
23.화 있을찐저 외식하는 서기관들과 바리새인들이여

너희가 박하와 회향과 근채의 십일조를 드리되 율법의 더 중한바 의와 인과 신은 버렸도다

그러나 이것도 행하고 저것도 버리지 말아야 할찌니라
24.소경된 인도자여 하루살이는 걸러 내고 약대는 삼키는도다
25.화 있을찐저 외식하는 서기관들과 바리새인들이여

잔과 대접의 겉은 깨끗이 하되 그 안에는 탐욕과 방탕으로 가득하게 하는도다
26.소경된 바리새인아 너는 먼저 안을 깨끗이 하라 그리하면 겉도 깨끗하리라
27.화 있을찐저 외식하는 서기관들과 바리새인들이여

회칠한 무덤 같으니 겉으로는 아름답게 보이나

그 안에는 죽은 사람의 뼈와 모든 더러운 것이 가득하도다
28.이와 같이 너희도 겉으로는 사람에게 옳게 보이되 안으로는 외식과 불법이 가득하도다

13.But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!

for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men:

for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
14.Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!

for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer:

therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
15.Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!

for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made,

ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
16.Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say,

Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing;

but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!
17.Ye fools and blind:

for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?
18.And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing;

but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.
19.Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?
20.Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.
21.And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein.
22.And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.
23.Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!

for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law,

judgment, mercy, and faith:

these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
24.Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
25.Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!

for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter,

but within they are full of extortion and excess.
26.Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter,

that the outside of them may be clean also.
27.Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!

for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward,

but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
28.Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men,

but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

13.しかし， 忌わしいものだ． 僞善の 律法學者， パリサイ 人たち．

あなたがたは， 人々から 天の 御國をさえぎっているのです．

自分もはいらず， はいろうとしている 人々をもはいらせないのです．

あなたがたは， やもめたちの 家を 食いつぶしていながら， 見えのために 長い 祈りをするからです．

ですから， あなたがたは， 人一倍ひどい 罰を 受けます． 〕

改宗者をひとりつくるのに， 海と 陸とを 飛び 回り， 改宗者ができると，

その 人を 自分より 倍も 惡い ゲヘナ の 子にするからです．

あなたがたはこう 言う． 『だれでも， 神殿をさして 誓ったのなら， 何でもない．

しかし， 神殿の 黃金をさして 誓ったら， その 誓いを 果たさなければならない． 』
17.愚かで， 目の 見えぬ 人たち． 黃金と， 黃金を 聖いものにする 神殿と， どちらがたいせつなのか．
18.また， こう 言う．

『だれでも， 祭壇をさして 誓ったのなら， 何でもない．

しかし， 祭壇の 上の 供え 物をさして 誓ったら， その 誓いを 果たさなければならない． 』
19.目の 見えぬ 人たち． 供え 物と， その 供え 物を 聖いものにする 祭壇と， どちらがたいせつなのか．
20.ですから， 祭壇をさして 誓う 者は， 祭壇をも， その 上のすべての 物をもさして 誓っているのです．
21.また， 神殿をさして 誓う 者は， 神殿をも，

その 中に 住まわれる 方をもさして 誓っているのです．
22.天をさして 誓う 者は， 神の 御座とそこに 座しておられる 方をさして 誓うのです．
23.忌わしいものだ． 僞善の 律法學者， パリサイ 人たち．

あなたがたは， はっか， いのんど， クミン などの 十分の 一を 納めているが，

律法の 中ではるかに 重要なもの， すなわち 正義もあわれみも 誠實もおろそかにしているのです．

これこそしなければならないことです． ただし， 他のほうもおろそかにしてはいけません．
24.目の 見えぬ 手引きども． あなたがたは， ぶよは， こして 除くが， らくだはのみこんでいます．
25.忌わしいものだ． 僞善の 律法學者， パリサイ 人たち．

あなたがたは， 杯や 皿の 外側はきよめるが， その 中は 强奪と 放縱でいっぱいです．
26.目の 見えぬ パリサイ 人たち．

まず， 杯の 內側をきよめなさい．そうすれば， 外側もきよくなります．
27.忌わしいものだ． 僞善の 律法學者， パリサイ 人たち． あなたがたは 白く 塗った 墓のようなものです．

墓はその 外側は 美しく 見えても， 內側は， 死人の 骨や， あらゆる 汚れたものがいっぱいなように，
28.あなたがたも， 外側は 人に 正しいと 見えても， 內側は 僞善と 不法でいっぱいです．
