19.그들이 아침에 일찌기 일어나 여호와 앞에 경배하고 돌아가서 라마의 자기 집에 이르니라

엘가나가 그 아내 한나와 동침하매 여호와께서 그를 생각하신지라
20.한나가 잉태하고 때가 이르매 아들을 낳아 사무엘이라 이름하였으니

이는 내가 여호와께 그를 구하였다 함이더라
21.그 사람 엘가나와 그 온 집이 여호와께 매년제와 그 서원제를 드리러 올라갈 때에
22.오직 한나는 올라가지 아니하고 그 남편에게 이르되

아이를 젖 떼거든 내가 그를 데리고 가서 여호와 앞에 뵈게 하고 거기 영영히 있게 하리이다
23.그 남편 엘가나가 그에게 이르되

그대의 소견에 선한대로 하여 그를 젖 떼기까지 기다리라

오직 여호와께서 그 말씀대로 이루시기를 원하노라

이에 그 여자가 그 아들을 양육하며 그 젖 떼기까지 기다리다가
24.젖을 뗀 후에 그를 데리고 올라갈쌔

수소 셋과 가루 한 에바와 포도주 한 가죽부대를 가지고 실로 여호와의 집에 나아갔는데 아이가 어리더라
25.그들이 수소를 잡고 아이를 데리고 엘리에게 가서
26.한나가 가로되

나의 주여 당신의 사심으로 맹세하나이다 나는 여기서 나의 주 당신 곁에 서서 여호와께 기도하던 여자라
27.이 아이를 위하여 내가 기도하였더니

여호와께서 나의 구하여 기도한 바를 허락하신지라
28.그러므로 나도 그를 여호와께 드리되 그의 평생을 여호와께 드리나이다

하고 그 아이는 거기서 여호와께 경배하니라

19.And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD,

and returned, and came to their house to Ramah:

and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her.
20.Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived,

that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD.
21.And the man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer unto the LORD the yearly sacrifice, and his vow.
22.But Hannah went not up; for she said unto her husband,

I will not go up until the child be weaned, and then I will bring him,

that he may appear before the LORD, and there abide for ever.
23.And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good;

tarry until thou have weaned him; only the LORD establish his word.

So the woman abode, and gave her son suck until she weaned him.
24.And when she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bullocks,

and one ephah of flour, and a bottle of wine, and brought him unto the house of the LORD in Shiloh:

and the child was young.
25.And they slew a bullock, and brought the child to Eli.
26.And she said,

Oh my lord, as thy soul liveth, my lord, I am the woman that stood by thee here, praying unto the LORD.
27.For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him:
28.Therefore also I have lent him to the LORD;

as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the LORD. And he worshipped the LORD there.

19 翌朝早く、彼らは主の前で礼拝をし、ラマにある自分たちの家へ帰って行った。

エルカナは自分の妻ハンナを知った。主は彼女を心に留められた。
20 日が改まって、ハンナはみごもり、男の子を産んだ。

そして「私がこの子を主に願ったから」と言って、その名をサムエルと呼んだ。
21 夫のエルカナは、

家族そろって、年ごとのいけにえを主にささげ、自分の誓願を果たすために上っていこうとしたが、
22 ハンナは夫に、

「この子が乳離れし、私がこの子を連れて行き、この子が主の御顔を拝し、

いつまでも、そこにとどまるようになるまでは」と言って、上って行かなかった。
23 夫のエルカナは彼女に言った。

「あなたの良いと思うようにしなさい。この子が乳離れするまで待ちなさい。

ただ、主のおことばのとおりになるように。」

こうしてこの女は、とどまって、その子が乳離れするまで乳を飲ませた。
24 その子が乳離れをしたとき、

彼女は雄牛三頭、小麦粉一エパ、ぶどう酒の皮袋一つを携え、その子を連れ上り、シロの主の宮に連れて行った。

その子は幼かった。
25 彼らは、雄牛一頭をほふり、その子をエリのところに連れて行った。
26 ハンナは言った。

「おお、祭司さま。あなたは生きておられます。

祭司さま。私はかつて、ここのあなたのそばに立って、主に祈った女でございます。
27 この子のために、私は祈ったのです。

主は私がお願いしたとおり、私の願いをかなえてくださいました。
28 それで私もまた、この子を主にお渡しいたします。

この子は一生涯、主に渡されたものです。」こうして彼らはそこで主を礼拝した。

1.할렐루야 하늘에서 여호와를 찬양하며 높은데서 찬양할찌어다
2.그의 모든 사자여 찬양하며 모든 군대여 찬양할찌어다
3.해와 달아 찬양하며 광명한 별들아 찬양할찌어다
4.하늘의 하늘도 찬양하며 하늘 위에 있는 물들도 찬양할찌어다
5.그것들이 여호와의 이름을 찬양할 것은 저가 명하시매 지음을 받았음이로다
6.저가 또 그것들을 영영히 세우시고 폐치 못할 명을 정하셨도다
7.너희 용들과 바다여 땅에서 여호와를 찬양하라
8.불과 우박과 눈과 안개와 그 말씀을 좇는 광풍이며
9.산들과 모든 작은 산과 과목과 모든 백향목이며
10.짐승과 모든 가축과 기는 것과 나는 새며
11.세상의 왕들과 모든 백성과 방백과 땅의 모든 사사며
12.청년 남자와 처녀와 노인과 아이들아

9.오직 우리가 천사들보다 잠간 동안 못하게 하심을 입은 자

곧 죽음의 고난 받으심을 인하여 영광과 존귀로 관 쓰신 예수를 보니

이를 행하심은 하나님의 은혜로 말미암아 모든 사람을 위하여 죽음을 맛보려 하심이라
10.만물이 인하고 만물이 말미암은 자에게는 많은 아들을 이끌어 영광에 들어가게 하시는 일에

저희 구원의 주를 고난으로 말미암아 온전케 하심이 합당하도다
11.거룩하게 하시는 자와 거룩하게 함을 입은 자들이 다 하나에서 난지라

그러므로 형제라 부르시기를 부끄러워 아니하시고
12.이르시되 내가 주의 이름을 내 형제들에게 선포하고 내가 주를 교회 중에서 찬송하리라 하셨으며
13.또 다시 내가 그를 의지하리라 하시고 또 다시 볼찌어다 나와 및 하나님께서 내게 주신 자녀라 하셨으니
14.자녀들은 혈육에 함께 속하였으매

그도 또한 한 모양으로 혈육에 함께 속하심은 사망으로 말미암아 사망의 세력을 잡은 자 곧 마귀를 없이 하시며
15.또 죽기를 무서워하므로 일생에 매여 종노릇하는 모든 자들을 놓아 주려 하심이니
16.이는 실로 천사들을 붙들어 주려 하심이 아니요 오직 아브라함의 자손을 붙들어 주려 하심이라
17.그러므로 저가 범사에 형제들과 같이 되심이 마땅하도다

이는 하나님의 일에 자비하고 충성된 대제사장이 되어 백성의 죄를 구속하려 하심이라
18.자기가 시험을 받아 고난을 당하셨은즉 시험 받는 자들을 능히 도우시느니라

9.But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death,

crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
10.For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things,

in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
11.For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one:

for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
12.Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.
13.And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.
14.Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood,

he also himself likewise took part of the same;

that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
15.And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
16.For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
17.Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren,

that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God,

to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
18.For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

9 ただ、御使いよりも、しばらくの間、低くされた方であるイエスのことは見ています。

イエスは、死の苦しみのゆえに、栄光と誉れの冠をお受けになりました。

その死は、神の恵みによって、すべての人のために味わわれたものです。
10 神が多くの子たちを栄光に導くのに、

彼らの救いの創始者を、多くの苦しみを通して全うされたということは、万物の存在の目的であり、

また原因でもある方として、ふさわしいことであったのです。
11 聖とする方も、聖とされる者たちも、すべて元は一つです。

それで、主は彼らを兄弟と呼ぶことを恥としないで、こう言われます。
12 「わたしは御名を、わたしの兄弟たちに告げよう。教会の中で、わたしはあなたを賛美しよう。」
13 またさらに、

「わたしは彼に信頼する。」またさらに、「見よ、わたしと、神がわたしに賜った子たちは。」と言われます。
14 そこで、子たちはみな血と肉とを持っているので、

主もまた同じように、これらのものをお持ちになりました。

これは、その死によって、悪魔という、死の力を持つ者を滅ぼし、
15 一生涯死の恐怖につながれて奴隷となっていた人々を解放してくださるためでした。
16 主は御使いたちを助けるのではなく、確かに、アブラハムの子孫を助けてくださるのです。
17 そういうわけで、神のことについて、あわれみ深い、忠実な大祭司となるため、

主はすべての点で兄弟たちと同じようにならなければなりませんでした。

それは民の罪のために、なだめがなされるためなのです。
18 主は、ご自身が試みを受けて苦しまれたので、試みられている者たちを助けることがおできになるのです。

[내가 내 아버지 집에 있어야 될 줄을 알지 못하셨나이까]
41.그 부모가 해마다 유월절을 당하면 예루살렘으로 가더니
42.예수께서 열 두살 될 때에 저희가 이 절기의 전례를 좇아 올라갔다가
43.그 날들을 마치고 돌아갈 때에 아이 예수는 예루살렘에 머무셨더라 그 부모는 이를 알지 못하고
44.동행 중에 있는 줄로 생각하고 하룻길을 간 후 친족과 아는 자 중에서 찾되
45.만나지 못하매 찾으면서 예루살렘에 돌아갔더니
46.사흘 후에 성전에서 만난즉 그가 선생들 중에 앉으사 저희에게 듣기도 하시며 묻기도 하시니
47.듣는 자가 다 그 지혜와 대답을 기이히 여기더라
48.그 부모가 보고 놀라며 그 모친은 가로되

아이야 어찌하여 우리에게 이렇게 하였느냐 보라 네 아버지와 내가 근심하여 너를 찾았노라
49.예수께서 가라사대

어찌하여 나를 찾으셨나이까 내가 내 아버지 집에 있어야 될 줄을 알지 못하셨나이까 하시니
50.양친이 그 하신 말씀을 깨닫지 못하더라
51.예수께서 한가지로 내려가사 나사렛에 이르러 순종하여 받드시더라

그 모친은 이 모든 말을 마음에 두니라
52.예수는 그 지혜와 그 키가 자라가며 하나님과 사람에게 더 사랑스러워 가시더라

41.Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover.
42.And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.
43.And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem;

and Joseph and his mother knew not of it.
44.But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day's journey;

and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance.
45.And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him.
46.And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple,

sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.
47.And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.
48.And when they saw him, they were amazed:

and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us?

behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.
49.And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me?

wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?
50.And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.
51.And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them:

but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.
52.And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.

41 さて、イエスの両親は、過越の祭りには毎年エルサレムに行った。
42 イエスが十二歳になられたときも、両親は祭りの慣習に従って都へ上り、
43 祭りの期間を過ごしてから、帰路についたが、少年イエスはエルサレムにとどまっておられた。

両親はそれにきづかなかった。
44 イエスが一行の中にいるものと思って、一日の道のりを行った。

それから、親族や知人の中を捜し回ったが、
45 見つからなかったので、イエスを捜しながら、エルサレムまで引き返した。
46 そうしてようやく三日の後に、

イエスが宮で教師たちの真ん中にすわって、話を聞いたり質問したりしておられるのを見つけた。
47 聞いていた人々はみな、イエスの知恵と答えに驚いていた。
48 両親は彼を見て驚き、母は言った。

「まあ、あなたはなぜ私たちにこんなことをしたのです。

見なさい。父上も私も、心配してあなたを捜し回っていたのです。」
49 するとイエスは両親に言われた。

「どうしてわたしをお捜しになったのですか。

わたしが必ず自分の父の家にいることを、ご存知なかったのですか。」
50 しかし両親には、イエスの話されたことばの意味がわからなかった。
51 それからイエスは、いっしょに下って行かれ、ナザレに帰って、両親に仕えられた。

母はこれらのことをみな、心に留めておいた。
52 イエスはますます知恵が進み、背たけも大きくなり、神と人とに愛された。
