[야곱이 벧엘에서 꿈을 꾸다]
10.  야곱이 브엘세바에서 떠나 하란으로 향하여 가더니
11.  한곳에 이르러는 해가 진지라

거기서 유숙하려고 그곳의 한 돌을 취하여 베개하고 거기 누워 자더니
12.  꿈에 본즉 사닥다리가 땅 위에 섰는데 그 꼭대기가 하늘에 닿았고

또 본즉 하나님의 사자가 그 위에서 오르락 내리락하고
13.  또 본즉 여호와께서 그 위에 서서 가라사대

나는 여호와니 너의 조부 아브라함의 하나님이요 이삭의 하나님이라

너 누운 땅을 내가 너와 네 자손에게 주리니
14.  네 자손이 땅의 티끌같이 되어서 동서남북에 편만할지며

땅의 모든 족속이 너와 네 자손을 인하여 복을 얻으리라
15.  내가 너와 함께 있어

네가 어디로 가든지 너를 지키며 너를 이끌어 이 땅으로 돌아오게 할지라

내가 네게 허락한 것을 다이루기까지 너를 떠나지 아니하리라 하신지라
16.  야곱이 잠이 깨어 가로되 여호와께서 과연 여기 계시거늘 내가 알지 못하였도다
17.  이에 두려워하여 가로되 두렵도다 이 곳이여

다른 것이 아니라 이는 하나님의 전이요 이는 하늘의 문이로다 하고
18.  야곱이 아침에 일찌기 일어나

베개하였던 돌을 가져 기둥으로 세우고 그 위에 기름을 붓고
19.  그곳 이름을 벧엘이라 하였더라

10.  And Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran.
11.  And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set;

and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep.
12.  And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven:

and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.
13.  And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said,

I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac:

the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;
14.  And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west,

and to the east, and to the north, and to the south:

and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
15.  And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest,

and will bring thee again into this land;

for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.
16.  And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not.
17.  And he was afraid, and said,

How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.
18.  And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put for his pillows,

and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon the top of it.
19.  And he called the name of that place Bethel:

10 ヤコブはベエル・シェバを立って、ハランへと旅立った。
11 ある所に着いたとき、ちょうど日が沈んだので、そこで一夜を明かすことにした。

彼はその所の石の一つを取り、それを枕にして、その場所で横になった。
12 そのうちに、彼は夢を見た。

見よ。一つのはしごが地に向けて立てられている。

その頂は天に届き、見よ、神の使いたちが、そのはしごを上り下りしている。
13 そして、見よ。主が彼のかたらわに立っておられた。そして仰せられた。

「わたしはあなたの父アブラハムの神、イサクの神、主である。

わたしはあなたが横たわっているこの地を、あなたとあなたの子孫とに与える。
14 あなたの子孫は地のちりのように多くなり、あなたは、西、東、北、南へと広がり、

地上のすべての民族は、あなたとあなたの子孫によって祝福される。
15 見よ。

わたしはあなたとともにあり、あなたがどこへ行っても、あなたを守り、あなたをこの地に連れ戻そう。

わたしは、あなたに約束したことを成し遂げるまで、決してあなたを捨てない。
16 ヤコブは眠りからさめて、

「まことに主がこの所におられるのに、私はそれを知らなかった」と言った。
17 彼は恐れおののいて、また言った。

「この場所は、なんとおそれおおいことだろう。こここそ神の家にほかならない。ここは天の門だ。」
18 翌朝早く、ヤコブは自分が枕にした石を取り、それを石の柱として立て、その上に油をそそいだ。
19 そして、その場所の名をベテルと呼んだ。

1.  여호와여 주께서 나를 감찰하시고 아셨나이다
2.  주께서 나의 앉고 일어섬을 아시며 멀리서도 나의 생각을 통촉하시오며
3.  나의 길과 눕는 것을 감찰하시며 나의 모든 행위를 익히 아시오니
4.  여호와여 내 혀의 말을 알지 못하시는 것이 하나도 없으시니이다
5.  주께서 나의 전후를 두르시며 내게 안수하셨나이다
6.  이 지식이 내게 너무 기이하니 높아서 내가 능히 미치지 못하나이다
7.  내가 주의 신을 떠나 어디로 가며 주의 앞에서 어디로 피하리이까
8.  내가 하늘에 올라갈지라도 거기 계시며 음부에 내 자리를 펼지라도 거기 계시니이다
9.  내가 새벽 날개를 치며 바다 끝에 가서 거할지라도
10.  곧 거기서도 주의 손이 나를 인도하시며 주의 오른손이 나를 붙드시리이다
11.  내가 혹시 말하기를 흑암이 정녕 나를 덮고 나를 두른 빛은 밤이 되리라 할지라도
12.  주에게서는 흑암이 숨기지 못하며 밤이 낮과 같이 비취나니

주에게는 흑암과 빛이 일반이니이다
23.  하나님이여 나를 살피사 내 마음을 아시며 나를 시험하사 내 뜻을 아옵소서
24.  내게 무슨 악한 행위가 있나 보시고 나를 영원한 길로 인도하소서

1.  O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.
2.  Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
3.  Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
4.  For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
5.  Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.
6.  Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
7.  Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
8.  If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
9.  If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;

23 神よ。私を探り、私の心を知ってください。私を調べ、私の思い煩いを知ってください。

[우리가 그와 함께 영광을 받기 위하여 고난도 함께 받아야 될 것이니라]
12.  그러므로 형제들아 우리가 빚진 자로되 육신에게 져서 육신대로 살 것이 아니니라
13.  너희가 육신대로 살면 반드시 죽을 것이로되 영으로써 몸의 행실을 죽이면 살리니
14.  무릇 하나님의 영으로 인도함을 받는 그들은 곧 하나님의 아들이라
15.  너희는 다시 무서워하는 종의 영을 받지 아니하였고

양자의 영을 받았으므로 아바 아버지라 부르짖느니라
16.  성령이 친히 우리 영으로 더불어 우리가 하나님의 자녀인 것을 증거하시나니
17.  자녀이면 또한 후사 곧 하나님의 후사요 그리스도와 함께한 후사니

우리가 그와 함께 영광을 받기 위하여 고난도 함께 받아야 될 것이니라

[모든 피조물이 구원을 고대하다]
18.  생각건대 현재의 고난은 장차 우리에게 나타날 영광과 족히 비교할 수 없도다
19.  피조물의 고대 하는 바는 하나님의 아들들의 나타나는 것이니
20.  피조물이 허무한데 굴복하는 것은 자기 뜻이 아니요 오직 굴복케 하시는 이로 말미암음이라
21.  그 바라는 것은 피조물도 썩어짐의 종노릇 한데서 해방되어

하나님의 자녀들의 영광의 자유에 이르는 것이니라
22.  피조물이 다 이제까지 함께 탄식하며 함께 고통하는 것을 우리가 아나니
23.  이뿐 아니라 또한 우리 곧 성령의 처음 익은 열매를 받은 우리까지도 속으로 탄식하여 양자 될 것

곧 우리 몸의 구속을 기다리느니라
24.  우리가 소망으로 구원을 얻었으매 보이는 소망이 소망이 아니니 보는 것을 누가 바라리요
25.  만일 우리가 보지 못하는 것을 바라면 참음으로 기다릴찌니라

12.  Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13.  For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die:

but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14.  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15.  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear;

but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16.  The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17.  And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18.  For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory

which shall be revealed in us.
19.  For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20.  For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly,

but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21.  Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from

the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
22.  For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
23.  And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit,

even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
24.  For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope:

for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
25.  But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

12 ですから、兄弟たち。私たちは、肉に従って歩む責任を、肉に対して負ってはいません。
13 もし肉に従って生きるなら、あなたがたは死ぬのです。

しかし、もし御霊によって、からだの行いを殺すなら、あなたがたは生きるのです。
14 神の御霊に導かれる人は、だれでも神の子どもです。
15 あなたがたは、人を再び恐怖に陥れるような、奴隷の霊を受けたのではなく、

子としてくださる御霊を受けたのです。私たちは御霊によって、「アバ、父」と呼びます。
16 私たちが神の子どもであることは、御霊ご自身が、私たちの霊とともに、あかししてくださいます。
17 もし子どもであるなら、相続人でもあります。

私たちがキリストと、栄光とをともに受けるために苦難をともにしているなら、私たちは神の相続人であり、

キリストとの共同相続人であります。
18 今の時のいろいろの苦しみは、

将来私たちに啓示されようとしている栄光に比べれば、取るに足りないものと私は考えます。
19 被造物も、切実な思いで神の子どもたちの現れを待ち望んでいるのです。
20 それは、被造物が虚無に服したのが自分の意思ではなく、

服従させた方によるのであって、望みがあるからです。
21 被造物自体も、滅びの束縛から解放され、神の子どもたちの栄光の自由の中に入れられます。
22 私たちは、被造物全体が今に至るまで、ともにうめきともに産みの苦しみをしていることを知っています。
23 そればかりでなく、御霊の初穂をいただいている私たち自身も、心の中でうめきながら、子にしていただくこと、

すなわち、私たちのからだの贖われることを待ち望んでいます。
24 私たちは、この望みによって救われているのです。

目に見える望みは、望みではありません。だれでも目で見ていることを、どうしてさらに望むでしょう。
25 もしまだ見ていないものを望んでいるなら、私たちは、忍耐をもって熱心に待ちます。

[가라지의 비유]
24.  예수께서 그들 앞에 또 비유를 베풀어 가라사대 천국은 좋은 씨를 제 밭에 뿌린 사람과 같으니
25.  사람들이 잘 때에 그 원수가 와서 곡식 가운데 가라지를 덧뿌리고 갔더니
26.  싹이 나고 결실할 때에 가라지도 보이거늘
27.  집 주인의 종들이 와서 말하되

주여 밭에 좋은 씨를 심지 아니하였나이까 그러면 가라지가 어디서 생겼나이까
28.  주인이 가로되 원수가 이렇게 하였구나

종들이 말하되 그러면 우리가 가서 이것을 뽑기를 원하시나이까
29.  주인이 가로되

가만 두어라 가라지를 뽑다가 곡식까지 뽑을까 염려하노라
30.  둘 다 추수 때까지 함께 자라게 두어라

추수 때에 내가 추숫군들에게 말하기를 가라지는 먼저 거두어 불사르게 단으로 묶고

곡식은 모아 내 곳간에 넣으라 하리라
[가라지의 비유를 설명하시다]
36.  이에 예수께서 무리를 떠나사 집에 들어가시니 제자들이 나아와 가로되

밭의 가라지의 비유를 우리에게 설명하여 주소서
37.  대답하여 가라사대 좋은 씨를 뿌리는 이는 인자요
38.  밭은 세상이요 좋은 씨는 천국의 아들들이요 가라지는 악한 자의 아들들이요
39.  가라지를 심은 원수는 마귀요 추수때는 세상 끝이요 추숫군은 천사들이니
40.  그런즉 가라지를 거두어 불에 사르는것같이 세상끝에도 그러하리라
41.  인자가 그 천사들을 보내리니

저희가 그 나라에서 모든 넘어지게 하는 것과 또 불법을 행하는 자들을 거두어 내어
42.  풀무불에 던져 넣으리니 거기서 울며 이를 갊이 있으리라
43.  그 때에 의인들은 자기 아버지 나라에서 해와 같이 빛나리라 귀 있는 자는 들으라

24.  Another parable put he forth unto them, saying,

The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
25.  But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
26.  But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
27.  So the servants of the householder came and said unto him,

Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
28.  He said unto them, An enemy hath done this.

The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
29.  But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
30.  Let both grow together until the harvest:

and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares,

and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
36.  Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house:

and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
37.  He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
38.  The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom;

but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
39.  The enemy that sowed them is the devil;

the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
40.  As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
41.  The Son of man shall send forth his angels,

and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
42.  And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
43.  Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.

Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

24 イエスは、また別のたとえを彼らに示して言われた。

「天の御国は、こういう人にたとえることができます。ある人が自分の畑に良い種を蒔いた。
25 ところが、人々が眠っている間に、彼の敵が来て麦の中に毒麦を蒔いて行った。
26 麦が芽ばえ、やがて実ったとき、毒麦も現れた。
27 それで、その家の主人のしもべたちが来て言った。

『ご主人。畑には良い麦を蒔かれたではありませんか。どうして毒麦が出たのでしょう。』
28 主人は言った。『敵のやったことです。』

すると、しもべたちは言った。『では、私たちが行ってそれを抜き集めましょうか。』
29 だが、主人は言った。『いやいや。毒麦を抜き集めるうちに、麦もいっしょに抜き取るかもしれない。
30 だから、収穫まで、両方とも育つままにしておきなさい。

収穫の時期になったら、私は刈る人たちに、まず、毒麦を集め、焼くために束にしなさい。

麦のほうは、集めて私の倉に納めなさい、と言いましょう。』」
36 それから、イエスは群集と別れて家に入られた。

すると、弟子たちがみもとに来て、「畑の毒麦のたとえを説明してください。」と言った。
37 イエスは答えてこう言われた。「良い種を蒔く者は人の子です。
38 畑はこの世界のことで、良い種とは御国の子どもたち、毒麦とは悪い者の子どもたちのことです。
39 毒麦を蒔いた敵は悪魔であり、収穫とはこの世の終わりのことです。

そして、刈り手とは御使いたちのことです。
40 ですから、毒麦が集められて火で焼かれるように、この世の終わりにもそのようになります。
41 人の子はその御使いたちを遣わします。

彼らは、つまずきを与える者や不法を行う者たちをみな、御国から取り集めて、
42 火の燃える炉に投げ込みます。彼らはそこで泣いて歯ぎしりするのです。
43 そのとき、正しい者たちは、彼らの父の御国で太陽のように輝きます。耳のある者は聞きなさい。
