[여호와의 말씀대로 아나돗의 밭을 사다]
1 유다 왕 시드기야의 제 십년 곧 느부갓네살의 제 십 팔년에 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하니라
2 때에 바벨론 군대는 예루살렘을 에워싸고 선지자 예레미야는 유다 왕의 궁중에 있는 시위대 뜰에 갇혔으니
3 이는 그가 예언하기를 여호와의 말씀에 보라
6 예레미야가 가로되 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하였느니라 이르시기를
7 보라

네 숙부 살룸의 아들 하나멜이 네게 와서 말하기를 너는 아나돗에 있는 내 밭을 사라

이 기업을 무를 권리가 네게 있느니라 하리라 하시더니
8 여호와의 말씀 같이 나의 숙부의 아들 하나멜이 시위대 뜰안 내게로 와서 이르되

청하노니 너는 베냐민 땅 아나돗에 있는 나의 밭을 사라

기업의 상속권이 네게 있고 무를 권리가 네게 있으니 너를 위하여 사라

하는지라 내가 이것이 여호와의 말씀인줄 알았으므로
9 내 숙부의 아들 하나멜의 아나돗에 있는 밭을 사는데 은 십 칠 세겔을 달아주되
10 증서를 써서 인봉하고 증인을 세우고 은을 저울에 달아 주고
11 법과 규례대로 인봉하고 인봉치 아니한 매매증서를 내가 취하여
12 나의 숙부의 아들 하나멜과 매매증서에 인 친 증인의 앞과 시위대 뜰에 앉은 유다 모든 사람 앞에서

그 매매증서를 마세야의 손자 네리야의 아들 바룩에게 부치며
13 그들의 앞에서 바룩에게 명하여 이르되
14 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말씀하시기를

너는 이 증서 곧 인봉하고 인봉치 않은 매매증서를 취하여 토기에 담아 많은 날 동안 보존케 하라
15 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님 내가 이같이 말하노라

사람이 이 땅에서 집과 밭과 포도원을 다시 사게 되리라 하셨다 하니라

1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD in the tenth year of Zedekiah king of Judah,

which [was] the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar.
2 For then the king of Babylons army besieged Jerusalem:

and Jeremiah the prophet was shut up in the court of the prison, which [was] in the king of Judahs house.
3 For Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up, saying, 
6 And Jeremiah said, The word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
7 Behold, Hanameel the son of Shallum thine uncle shall come unto thee, saying,

Buy thee my field that [is] in Anathoth: for the right of redemption [is] thine to buy [it].
8 So Hanameel mine uncles son came to me in the court of the prison according to the word of the LORD,

and said unto me, Buy my field, I pray thee, that [is] in Anathoth, which [is] in the country of Benjamin:

for the right of inheritance [is] thine, and the redemption [is] thine; buy [it] for thyself.

Then I knew that this [was] the word of the LORD.
9 And I bought the field of Hanameel my uncles son,

that [was] in Anathoth, and weighed him the money, [even] seventeen shekels of silver.
10 And I subscribed the evidence, and sealed [it], and took witnesses,

and weighed [him] the money in the balances.
11 So I took the evidence of the purchase,

[both] that which was sealed [according] to the law and custom, and that which was open:
12 And I gave the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah,

in the sight of Hanameel mine uncles [son],

and in the presence of the witnesses that subscribed the book of the purchase,

before all the Jews that sat in the court of the prison.
13 And I charged Baruch before them, saying,
14 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;

Take these evidences, this evidence of the purchase,

both which is sealed, and this evidence which is open;

and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days.
15 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;

Houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land.

1 ユダの王ゼデキヤの十年、すなわちネブカデレザルの十八年に、主の言葉がエレミヤに臨んだ。
2 その時、バビロンの王の軍勢がエルサレムを攻め囲んでいて、

預言者エレミヤはユダの王の宮殿にある監視の庭のうちに監禁されていた。
3 ユダの王ゼデキヤが彼を閉じ込めたのであるが、王は言った、
6 エレミヤは言った、「主の言葉がわたしに臨んで言われる、
7 『見よ、あなたのおじシャルムの子ハナメルがあなたの所に来て言う、

「アナトテにあるわたしの畑を買いなさい。

それは、これを買い取り、あがなう権利があなたにあるから」と』。
8 はたして主の言葉のように、

わたしのいとこであるハナメルが監視の庭のうちにいるわたしの所に来て言った、

『ベニヤミンの地のアナトテにあるわたしの畑を買ってください。

所有するのも、あがなうのも、あなたの権利なのです。買い取ってあなたの物にしてください。

これが主の言葉であるのをわたしは知っていました』。
9 そこでわたしは、いとこのハナメルからアナトテにある畑を買い取り、

銀十七シケルを量って彼に支払った。
10 すなわち、わたしはその証書をつくって、これに記名し、それを封印し、証人を立て、

はかりをもって銀を量って与えた。
11 そしてわたしはその約定をしるして封印した買収証書と、封印のない写しとを取り、
12 いとこのハナメルと、買収証書に記名した証人たち、

および監視の庭にすわっているすべてのユダヤ人の前で、

その証書をマアセヤの子であるネリヤの子バルクに与え、
13 彼らの前で、わたしはバルクに命じて言った、
14 『万軍の主、イスラエルの神はこう仰せられる、

これらの証書すなわち、この買収証書の封印したものと、封印のない写しとを取り、

これらを土の器に入れて、長く保存せよ。
15 万軍の主、イスラエルの神がこう言われるからである、

「この地で人々はまた家と畑とぶどう畑を買うようになる」と』。

시온에서 안일한 자와 사마리아 산에서 마음이 든든한 자
4 상아 상에 누우며 침상에서 기지개 켜며 양떼에서 어린 양과 우리에서 송아지를 취하여 먹고
5 비파에 맞추어 헛된 노래를 지절거리며 다윗처럼 자기를 위하여 악기를 제조하며
6 대접으로 포도주를 마시며 귀한 기름을 몸에 바르면서 요셉의 환난을 인하여는 근심치 아니하는 자로다
7 그러므로 저희가 이제는 사로잡히는 자 중에 앞서 사로잡히리니 기지개 켜는 자의 떠드는 소리가 그치리라

1 Woe to them [that are] at ease in Zion, and trust in the mountain of Samaria, 
4 That lie upon beds of ivory, and stretch themselves upon their couches,

and eat the lambs out of the flock, and the calves out of the midst of the stall;
5 That chant to the sound of the viol, [and] invent to themselves instruments of musick, like David;
6 That drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves with the chief ointments:

but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph.
7 Therefore now shall they go captive with the first that go captive,

and the banquet of them that stretched themselves shall be removed.

4 わざわいなるかな、みずから象牙の寝台に伏し、長いすの上に身を伸ばし、

群れのうちから小羊を取り、牛舎のうちから子牛を取って食べ、

7 それゆえ今、彼らは捕われて、捕われ人のまっ先に立って行く。

저가 나를 사랑한즉 내가 저를 건지리라 저가 내 이름을 안즉 내가 저를 높이리라
15 저가 내게 간구하리니 내가 응답하리라

저희 환난 때에 내가 저와 함께하여 저를 건지고 영화롭게 하리라
16 내가 장수함으로 저를 만족케 하며 나의 구원으로 보이리라 하시도다

1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, [He is] my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, [and] from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust:

his truth [shall be thy] shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; [nor] for the arrow [that] flieth by day;
6 [Nor] for the pestilence [that] walketh in darkness; [nor] for the destruction [that] wasteth at noonday.
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him:

I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I [will be] with him in trouble;

I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

2 主に言うであろう、「わが避け所、わが城、わが信頼しまつるわが神」と。
3 主はあなたをかりゅうどのわなと、恐ろしい疫病から助け出されるからである。
4 主はその羽をもって、あなたをおおわれる。あなたはその翼の下に避け所を得るであろう。

そのまことは大盾、また小盾である。
5 あなたは夜の恐ろしい物をも、昼に飛んでくる矢をも恐れることはない。
6 また暗やみに歩きまわる疫病をも、真昼に荒す滅びをも恐れることはない。
14 彼はわたしを愛して離れないゆえに、わたしは彼を助けよう。

彼はわが名を知るゆえに、わたしは彼を守る。

1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.
2 While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
3 Put not your trust in princes, [nor] in the son of man, in whom [there is] no help.
4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
5 Happy [is he] that [hath] the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope [is] in the LORD his God:

[말씀과 경건에 관한 교훈]
6 그러나 지족하는 마음이 있으면 경건이 큰 이익이 되느니라
7 우리가 세상에 아무것도 가지고 온 것이 없으매 또한 아무것도 가지고 가지 못하리니
8 우리가 먹을 것과 입을 것이 있은즉 족한 줄로 알 것이니라
9 부하려 하는 자들은 시험과 올무와 여러가지 어리석고 해로운 정욕에 떨어지나니

곧 사람으로 침륜과 멸망에 빠지게 하는 것이라
10 돈을 사랑함이 일만 악의 뿌리가 되나니

이것을 사모하는 자들이 미혹을 받아 믿음에서 떠나 많은 근심으로써 자기를 찔렀도다

18 선한 일을 행하고 선한 사업에 부하고 나눠주기를 좋아하며 동정하는 자가 되게 하라

6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 For we brought nothing into [this] world, [and it is] certain we can carry nothing out.

9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and [into] many foolish and hurtful lusts,

which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith,

6 しかし、信心があって足ることを知るのは、大きな利得である。
7 わたしたちは、何ひとつ持たないでこの世にきた。また、何ひとつ持たないでこの世を去って行く。
8 ただ衣食があれば、それで足れりとすべきである。
9 富むことを願い求める者は、誘惑と、わなとに陥り、

また、人を滅びと破壊とに沈ませる、無分別な恐ろしいさまざまの情欲に陥るのである。
10 金銭を愛することは、すべての悪の根である。

ある人々は欲ばって金銭を求めたため、信仰から迷い出て、多くの苦痛をもって自分自身を刺しとおした。
11 しかし、神の人よ。あなたはこれらの事を避けなさい。

そして、義と信心と信仰と愛と忍耐と柔和とを追い求めなさい。
12 信仰の戦いをりっぱに戦いぬいて、永遠のいのちを獲得しなさい。

あなたは、そのために召され、多くの証人の前で、りっぱなあかしをしたのである。
13 わたしはすべてのものを生かして下さる神のみまえと、

またポンテオ․ピラトの面前でりっぱなあかしをなさったキリスト․イエスのみまえで、あなたに命じる。
14 わたしたちの主イエス․キリストの出現まで、

その戒めを汚すことがなく、また、それを非難のないように守りなさい。
15 時がくれば、祝福に満ちた、ただひとりの力あるかた、もろもろの王の王、もろもろの主の主が、

キリストを出現させて下さるであろう。
16 神はただひとり不死を保ち、近づきがたい光の中に住み、人間の中でだれも見た者がなく、

見ることもできないかたである。ほまれと永遠の支配とが、神にあるように、アァメン。
17 この世で富んでいる者たちに、命じなさい。高慢にならず、たよりにならない富に望みをおかず、

むしろ、わたしたちにすべての物を豊かに備えて楽しませて下さる神に、のぞみをおくように、
18 また、良い行いをし、良いわざに富み、惜しみなく施し、人に分け与えることを喜び、
19 こうして、

真のいのちを得るために、未来に備えてよい土台を自分のために築き上げるように、

命じなさい。

19 한 부자가 있어 자색 옷과 고운 베옷을 입고 날마다 호화로이 연락하는데
20 나사로라 이름한 한 거지가 헌데를 앓으며 그 부자의 대문에 누워
21 부자의 상에서 떨어지는 것으로 배불리려 하매 심지어 개들이 와서 그 헌데를 핥더라
22 이에 그 거지가 죽어 천사들에게 받들려 아브라함의 품에 들어가고 부자도 죽어 장사되매
23 저가 음부에서 고통 중에 눈을 들어 멀리 아브라함과 그의 품에 있는 나사로를 보고
24 불러 가로되

아버지 아브라함이여 나를 긍휼히 여기사

나사로를 보내어 그 손가락 끝에 물을 찍어 내 혀를 서늘하게 하소서

내가 이 불꽃 가운데서 고민하나이다
25 아브라함이 가로되

얘 너는 살았을 때에 네 좋은 것을 받았고 나사로는 고난을 받았으니 이것을 기억하라

이제 저는 여기서 위로를 받고 너는 고민을 받느니라
26 이뿐 아니라 너희와 우리 사이에 큰 구렁이 끼어 있어 여기서 너희에게 건너가고자 하되 할 수 없고

거기서 우리에게 건너 올 수도 없게 하였느니라
27 가로되 그러면 구하노니 아버지여 나사로를 내 아버지의 집에 보내소서
28 내 형제 다섯이 있으니 저희에게 증거하게 하여 저희로 이 고통 받는 곳에 오지 않게 하소서
29 아브라함이 가로되 저희에게 모세와 선지자들이 있으니 그들에게 들을지니라
30 가로되 그렇지 아니하니이다 아버지 아브라함이여

만일 죽은 자에게서 저희에게 가는 자가 있으면 회개하리이다
31 가로되

모세와 선지자들에게 듣지 아니하면

비록 죽은 자 가운데서 살아나는 자가 있을지라도 권함을 받지 아니하리라

19 There was a certain rich man,

which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich mans table:

moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abrahams bosom:

the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said,

Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus,

that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said,

Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things,

and likewise Lazarus evil things:

but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed:

so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot;

neither can they pass to us, that [would come] from thence.
27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my fathers house:
28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31 And he said unto him,

If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded,

though one rose from the dead.

19 ある金持がいた。彼は紫の衣や細布を着て、毎日ぜいたくに遊び暮していた。
20 ところが、ラザロという貧しい人が全身でき物でおおわれて、この金持の玄関の前にすわり、
21 その食卓から落ちるもので飢えをしのごうと望んでいた。

その上、犬がきて彼のでき物をなめていた。
22 この貧しい人がついに死に、御使たちに連れられてアブラハムのふところに送られた。

金持も死んで葬られた。
23 そして黄泉にいて苦しみながら、目をあげると、

アブラハムとそのふところにいるラザロとが、はるかに見えた。
24 そこで声をあげて言った、

『父、アブラハムよ、わたしをあわれんでください。

ラザロをおつかわしになって、その指先を水でぬらし、わたしの舌を冷やさせてください。

わたしはこの火炎の中で苦しみもだえています』。
25 アブラハムが言った、『子よ、思い出すがよい。

あなたは生前よいものを受け、ラザロの方は悪いものを受けた。

しかし今ここでは、彼は慰められ、あなたは苦しみもだえている。
26 そればかりか、わたしたちとあなたがたとの間には大きな淵がおいてあって、

こちらからあなたがたの方へ渡ろうと思ってもできないし、

そちらからわたしたちの方へ越えて来ることもできない』。
27 そこで金持が言った、『父よ、ではお願いします。わたしの父の家へラザロをつかわしてください。
