[희망의 말씀]
1.  너희 하나님이 가라사대 너희는 위로하라 내 백성을 위로하라
2.  너희는 정다이 예루살렘에 말하며 그것에게 외쳐 고하라

그 복역의 때가 끝났고 그 죄악의 사함을 입었느니라

그 모든 죄를 인하여 여호와의 손에서 배나 받았느니라 할지니라
3.  외치는 자의 소리여 가로되

너희는 광야에서 여호와의 길을 예비하라 사막에서 우리 하나님의 대로를 평탄케 하라
4.  골짜기마다 돋우어지며 산마다 작은 산마다 낮아지며

고르지 않은 곳이 평탄케 되며 험한 곳이 평지가 될 것이요
5.  여호와의 영광이 나타나고 모든 육체가 그것을 함께 보리라

대저 여호와의 입이 말씀하셨느니라
6.  말하는 자의 소리여 가로되 외치라 대답하되 내가 무엇이라 외치리이이까

가로되 모든 육체는 풀이요 그 모든 아름다움은 들의 꽃 같으니
7.  풀은 마르고 꽃은 시듦은 여호와의 기운이 그 위에 붊이라 이 백성은 실로 풀이로다
8.  풀은 마르고 꽃은 시드나 우리 하나님의 말씀은 영영히 서리라 하라
9.  아름다운 소식을 시온에 전하는 자여 너는 높은 산에 오르라

아름다운 소식을 예루살렘에 전하는 자여 너는 힘써 소리를 높이라

두려워 말고 소리를 높여 유다의 성읍들에 이르기를 너희 하나님을 보라 하라
10.  보라 주 여호와께서 장차 강한 자로 임하실 것이요 친히 그 팔로 다스리실 것이라

보라 상급이 그에게 있고 보응이 그 앞에 있으며
11.  그는 목자같이 양무리를 먹이시며 어린 양을 그 팔로 모아 품에 안으시며

젖먹이는 암컷들을 온순히 인도하시리로다

1.  Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.
2.  Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished,

that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD's hand double for all her sins.
3.  The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness,

Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
4.  Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low:

and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
5.  And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together:

for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
6.  The voice said, Cry. And he said,

What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:
7.  The grass withereth, the flower fadeth:

because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it:

surely the people is grass.
8.  The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
9.  O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain;

O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid;

say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!
10.  Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him:

behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
11.  He shall feed his flock like a shepherd:

he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom,

and shall gently lead those that are with young.

1 「慰めよ。慰めよ。わたしの民を」とあなたがたの神は仰せられる。
2 「エルサレムに優しく語りかけよ。これに呼びかけよ。その労苦は終わり、その咎は償われた。

そのすべての罪に引き替え、二倍のものを主の手から受けたと。」
3 荒野に呼ばわる者の声がする。

「主の道を整えよ。荒地で、私たちの神のために、大路を平らにせよ。
4 すべての谷は埋め立てられ、すべての山や丘は低くなる。

盛り上がった地は平地に、険しい地は平野となる。
5 このようにして、主の栄光が現されると、すべての者が共にこれを見る。主の御口が語られたからだ。」
6 「呼ばわれ」と言う者の声がする。

私は、「何と呼ばわりましょう」と答えた。「すべての人は草、その栄光は、みな野の花のようだ。
7 主のいぶきがその上に吹くと、草は枯れ、花はしぼむ。まことに、民は草だ。
8 草は枯れ、花はしぼむ。だが、私たちの神のことばは永遠に立つ。」
9 シオンに良い知らせを伝える者よ。高い山に登れ。

エルサレムに良い知らせを伝える者よ。力の限り声をあげよ。声をあげよ。

恐れるな。ユダの町々に言え。「見よ。あなたがたの神を。」
10 見よ。神である主は力をもって来られ、その御腕で統べ治める。

見よ。その報酬は主の前にある。
11 主は羊飼いのように、その群れを飼い、御腕に子羊を引き寄せ、ふところに抱き、

乳を飲ませる羊を優しく導く。

1.  여호와여 주께서 주의 땅에 은혜를 베푸사 야곱의 포로 된 자로 돌아오게 하셨으며
2.  주의 백성의 죄악을 사하시고 저희 모든 죄를 덮으셨나이다(셀라)
8.  내가 하나님 여호와의 하실 말씀을 들으리니 대저 그 백성 그 성도에게 화평을 말씀하실 것이라

저희는 다시 망령된 데로 돌아가지 말지로다
9.  진실로 그의 구원이 그를 경외하는 자에게 가까우니 이에 영광이 우리 땅에 거하리이다
10.  긍휼과 진리가 같이 만나고 의와 화평이 서로 입맞추었으며
11.  진리는 땅에서 솟아나고 의는 하늘에서 하감하였도다
12.  여호와께서 좋은 것을 주시리니 우리 땅이 그 산물을 내리로다
13.  의가 주의 앞에 앞서 행하며 주의 종적으로 길을 삼으리로다

1.  Lord, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
2.  Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.
8.  I will hear what God the LORD will speak:

for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
9.  Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
10.  Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11.  Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12.  Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.
13.  Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.

1 主よ。あなたの御国に恵みを施し、ヤコブの繁栄を元どおりにされました。
2 あなたは、御民の咎を赦し、彼らのすべての罪を、おおわれました。セラ

主は、御民と聖徒たちとに平和を告げ、彼らを再び愚かさには戻されない。
9 まことに御救いは主を恐れる者たちに近い。それは、栄光が私たちの国にとどまるためです。
10 恵みとまこととは、互いに出会い、義と平和とは、互いに口づけしています。
11 まことは地から生えいで、義は天から見おろしています。

8.  사랑하는 자들아

주께는 하루가 천년 같고 천년이 하루 같은 이 한 가지를 잊지 말라
9.  주의 약속은 어떤 이의 더디다고 생각하는 것 같이 더딘 것이 아니라

오직 너희를 대하여 오래 참으사

아무도 멸망치 않고 다 회개하기에 이르기를 원하시느니라
10.  그러나 주의 날이 도적 같이 오리니

그 날에는 하늘이 큰 소리로 떠나가고 체질이 뜨거운 불에 풀어지고 땅과 그 중에 있는 모든 일이 드러나리로다
11.  이 모든 것이 이렇게 풀어지리니 너희가 어떠한 사람이 되어야 마땅하뇨 거룩한 행실과 경건함으로
12.  하나님의 날이 임하기를 바라보고 간절히 사모하라

그 날에 하늘이 불에 타서 풀어지고 체질이 뜨거운 불에 녹아지려니와
13.  우리는 그의 약속대로 의의 거하는바 새 하늘과 새 땅을 바라보도다
14.  그러므로 사랑하는 자들아 너희가 이것을 바라보나니

주 앞에서 점도 없고 흠도 없이 평강 가운데서 나타나기를 힘쓰라
15.  또 우리 주의 오래 참으심이 구원이 될 줄로 여기라

8.  But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing,

that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9.  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness;

but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10.  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night;

in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat,

the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11.  Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved,

what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12.  Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God,

wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13.  Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth,

wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14.  Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things,

be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
15.  And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation;

8 しかし、愛する人たち。あなたがたは、この一事を見落としてはいけません。

すなわち、主の御前では、一日は千年のようであり、千年は一日のようです。
9 主は、ある人たちがおそいと思っているように、その約束のことを遅らせておられるのではありません。

かえって、あなたがたに対して忍耐深くあられるのであって、

ひとりでも滅びることを望まず、すべての人が悔い改めに進むことを望んでおられるのです。
10 しかし、主の日は、盗人のようにやって来ます。

その日には、天は大きな響きをたてて消えうせ、天の万象は焼けてくずれ去り、

地と地のいろいろなわざは焼き尽くされます。
11 このように、これらのものはみな、くずれ落ちるものだとすれば、

あなたがたは、どれほど聖い生き方をする敬虔な人でなければならないことでしょう。
12 そのようにして、神の日の来るのを待ち望み、その日の来るのを早めなければなりません。

その日が来れば、そのために、天は燃えてくずれ、天の万象は焼け溶けてしまいます。
13 しかし、私たちは、神の約束に従って、正義の住む新しい天と新しい地を待ち望んでいます。
14 そういうわけで、愛する人たち。

このようなことを待ち望んでいるあなたがたですから、

しみも傷もない者として、平安をもって御前に出られるように、励みなさい。
15 また、私たちの主の忍耐は救いであると考えなさい。

1.  하나님의 아들 예수 그리스도 복음의 시작이라
2.  선지자 이사야의 글에 보라 내가 내 사자를 네 앞에 보내노니 저가 네 길을 예비하리라
3.  광야에 외치는 자의 소리가 있어 가로되

너희는 주의 길을 예비하라 그의 첩경을 평탄케 하라 기록된 것과 같이
4.  세례요한이 이르러 광야에서 죄 사함을 받게 하는 회개의 세례를 전파하니
5.  온 유대 지방과 예루살렘 사람이 다 나아가 자기 죄를 자복하고 요단강에서 그에게 세례를 받더라
6.  요한은 약대털을 입고 허리에 가죽띠를 띠고 메뚜기와 석청을 먹더라
7.  그가 전파하여 가로되

나보다 능력 많으신 이가 내 뒤에 오시나니 나는 굽혀 그의 신들메를 풀기도 감당치 못하겠노라
8.  나는 너희에게 물로 세례를 주었거니와 그는 성령으로 너희에게 세례를 주시리라

1.  The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;
2.  As it is written in the prophets,

Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
3.  The voice of one crying in the wilderness,

Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
4.  John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
5.  And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem,

and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.
6.  And John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins;

and he did eat locusts and wild honey;
7.  And preached, saying,

There cometh one mightier than I after me,

the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.
8.  I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.

「見よ。わたしは使いをあなたの前に遣わし、あなたの道を整えさせよう。
3 荒野で叫ぶ者の声がする。『主の道を用意し、主の通られる道をまっすぐにせよ。』」そのとおりに、
4 バプテスマのヨハネが荒野に現れて、罪の赦しのための悔い改めのバプテスマを宣べ伝えた。
5 そこでユダヤ全国の人々とエルサレムの全住民が彼のところへ行き、

自分の罪を告白して、ヨルダン川で彼からバプテスマを受けていた。
6 ヨハネは、らくだの毛で織った物を着て、腰に皮の帯を締め、いなごと野蜜を食べていた。
7 彼は宣べ伝えて言った。

「私よりもさらに力のある方が、あとからおいでになります。

私には、かがんでその方のくつのひもを解く値うちもありません。
8 私はあなたがたに水でバプテスマを授けましたが、

その方は、あなたがたに聖霊のバプテスマをお授けになります。」
