[사람들은 그를 경외하고 그는 마음에 지혜롭다 하는 자를 돌아보지 아니하시느니라]

14.욥이여 이것을 듣고 가만히 서서 하나님의 기묘하신 일을 궁구하라
15.하나님이 어떻게 이런 것들에게 명령하셔서

그 구름의 번개 빛으로 번쩍 번쩍하게 하시는지 네가 아느냐
16.구름의 평평하게 뜬 것과 지혜가 온전하신 자의 기묘한 일을 네가 아느냐
17.남풍으로하여 땅이 고요할 때에 네 의복이 따뜻한 까닭을 네가 아느냐
18.네가 능히 그와 함께 하여 부은 거울 같은 견고한 궁창을 펼 수 있느냐
19.우리가 그에게 할 말을 너는 우리에게 가르치라 우리는 어두워서 진술하지 못하겠노라
20.내가 말하고 싶은 것을 어찌 그에게 고할 수 있으랴 어찌 삼키우기를 바랄 자가 있으랴
21.사람이 어떤 때는 궁창의 광명을 볼 수 없어도 바람이 지나가면 맑아지느니라
22.북방에서는 금 빛이 나오나니 하나님께는 두려운 위엄이 있느니라
23.전능자를 우리가 측량할 수 없나니

그는 권능이 지극히 크사 심판이나 무한한 공의를 굽히지 아니 하심이니라
24.그러므로 사람들은 그를 경외하고 그는 마음에 지혜롭다 하는 자를 돌아보지 아니하시느니라

14.Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.
15.Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine?
16.Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds,

the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?
17.How thy garments are warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south wind?
18.Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?
19.Teach us what we shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.
20.Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.
21.And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds:

but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.
22.Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God is terrible majesty.
23.Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out:

he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice:

he will not afflict.
24.Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart.

14.これに耳を傾けよ．ヨブ．神の奇しいみわざを，じっと考えよ．
15.あなたは知っているか．神がどのようにこれらに命じ，その雲にいなずまをひらめかせるかを．
16.あなたは濃い雲のつり合いを知っているか．完全な知識を持つ方の不思議なみわざを．
17.また，南風で地がもだすとき，あなたの着物がいかに熱くなるかを．
18.あなたは，鑄た鏡のように堅い大空を神とともに張り延ばすことができるのか．
19.神に何と言うべきかを私たちに敎えよ．やみのために，私たちはことばを並べることができない．
20.私が語りたいと，神にどうして傳えられようか．人が尋ねるなら，必ず彼は滅ぼされる．
21.今，雨雲の中に輝いている光を見ることはできない．しかし，風が吹き去るとこれをきよめる．
22.北から黃金の輝きが現われ，神の回りには恐るべき尊嚴がある．
23.私たちが見つけることのできない全能者は，力とさばきにすぐれた方．

義に富み，苦しめることをしない．
24.だから，人々は神を恐れなければならない．神は心のこざかしい者を決して顧みない．

1.복 있는 사람은 악인의 꾀를 좇지 아니하며

죄인의 길에 서지 아니하며 오만한 자의 자리에 앉지 아니하고
2.오직 여호와의 율법을 즐거워하여 그 율법을 주야로 묵상하는 자로다
3.저는 시냇가에 심은 나무가 시절을 좇아 과실을 맺으며 그 잎사귀가 마르지 아니함 같으니

그 행사가 다 형통하리로다
4.악인은 그렇지 않음이여 오직 바람에 나는 겨와 같도다
5.그러므로 악인이 심판을 견디지 못하며 죄인이 의인의 회중에 들지 못하리로다
6.대저 의인의 길은 여호와께서 인정하시나 악인의 길은 망하리로다

1.Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,

nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2.But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3.And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season;

his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4.The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5.Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,

nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6.For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous:

but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

1.幸いなことよ．

惡者のはかりごとに步まず，罪人の道に立たず，あざける者の座に着かなかった，その人．
2.まことに，その人は主のおしえを喜びとし，昼も夜もそのおしえを口ずさむ．
3.その人は，水路のそばに植わった木のようだ．時が來ると實がなり，その葉は枯れない．

その人は，何をしても榮える．
4.惡者は，それとは違い，まさしく，風が吹き飛ばすもみがらのようだ．
5.それゆえ，惡者は，さばきの中に立ちおおせず，罪人は，正しい者のつどいに立てない．
6.まことに，主は，正しい者の道を知っておられる．しかし，惡者の道は滅びうせる．

[내가 긍휼히 여길 자를 긍휼히 여기고 불쌍히 여길 자를 불쌍히 여기리라]
14.그런즉 우리가 무슨 말 하리요 하나님께 불의가 있느뇨 그럴수 없느니라
15.모세에게 이르시되

내가 긍휼히 여길 자를 긍휼히 여기고 불쌍히 여길 자를 불쌍히 여기리라 하셨으니
16.그런즉 원하는 자로 말미암음도 아니요 달음박질하는 자로 말미암음도 아니요

오직 긍휼히 여기시는 하나님으로 말미암음이니라
17.성경이 바로에게 이르시되

내가 이 일을 위하여 너를 세웠으니

곧 너로 말미암아 내 능력을 보이고 내 이름이 온 땅에 전파되게 하려 함이로라

하셨으니
18.그런즉 하나님께서 하고자 하시는 자를 긍휼히 여기시고 하고자 하시는 자를 강퍅케 하시느니라
19.혹 네가 내게 말하기를

그러면 하나님이 어찌하여 허물하시느뇨 누가 그 뜻을 대적하느뇨 하리니
20.이 사람아 네가 뉘기에 감히 하나님을 힐문하느뇨

지음을 받은 물건이 지은 자에게 어찌 나를 이같이 만들었느냐 말하겠느뇨
21.토기장이가 진흙 한 덩이로 하나는 귀히 쓸 그릇을, 하나는 천히 쓸 그릇을 만드는 권이 없느냐
22.만일 하나님이 그 진노를 보이시고그 능력을 알게 하고자 하사

멸하기로 준비된 진노의 그릇을 오래 참으심으로 관용하시고
23.또한 영광 받기로 예비하신바

긍휼의 그릇에 대하여 그 영광의 부요함을 알게 하고자 하셨을찌라도 무슨 말 하리요
24.이 그릇은 우리니 곧 유대인 중에서 뿐아니라 이방인 중에서도 부르신 자니라
25.호세아 글에도 이르기를

내가 내 백성 아닌 자를 내 백성이라, 사랑치 아니한 자를 사랑한 자라 부르리라
26.너희는 내 백성이 아니라 한 그 곳에서

저희가 살아 계신 하나님의 아들이라 부름을 얻으리라 함과 같으니라
[롬 9:14-26]

14.What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.
15.For he saith to Moses,

I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy,

and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
16.So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
17.For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh,

Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up,

that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.
18.Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.
19.Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?
20.Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God?

Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
21.Hath not the potter power over the clay,

of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
22.What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known,

endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
23.And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy,

which he had afore prepared unto glory,
24.Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
25.As he saith also in Osee,

I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.
26.And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them,

Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.

14.それでは，どういうことになりますか．

神に不正があるのですか．絶對にそんなことはありません．
15.神は モ ― セ に，

「わたしは自分のあわれむ者をあわれみ，自分のいつくしむ者をいつくしむ．」と言われました．
16.したがって，事は人間の願いや努力によるのではなく，あわれんでくださる神によるのです．
17.聖書はパロに，

「わたしがあなたを立てたのは，

あなたにおいてわたしの力を示し，わたしの名を全世界に告げ知らせるためである．」

と言っています．
18.こういうわけで，神は，人をみこころのままにあわれみ，

またみこころのままにかたくなにされるのです．
19.すると，あなたはこう言うでしょう．

「それなのになぜ，神は人を責められるのですか．だれが神のご計畵に逆らうことができましょう．」
20.しかし，人よ．神に言い逆らうあなたは，いったい何ですか．

形造られた者が形造った者に對して，

「あなたはなぜ，私をこのようなものにしたのですか．」と言えるでしょうか．
21.陶器を作る者は，同じ土のかたまりから，尊いことに用いる器でも，

また，つまらないことに用いる器でも作る權利を持っていないのでしょうか．
22.ですが，もし神が，怒りを示してご自分の力を知らせようと望んでおられるのに，

その滅ぼされるべき怒りの器を，豊かな寬容をもって忍耐してくださったとしたら，どうでしょうか．
23.それも，神が榮光のためにあらかじめ用意しておられたあわれみの器に對して，

その豊かな榮光を知らせてくださるためになのです．
24.神は，このあわれみの器として，

私たちを，ユダヤ人の中からだけでなく，異邦人の中からも召してくださったのです．
25.それは，ホセアの書でも言っておられるとおりです．

「わたしは，わが民でない者をわが民と呼び，愛さなかった者を愛する者と呼ぶ．
26.『あなたがたは，わたしの民ではない．』と，わたしが言ったその場所で，

彼らは，生ける神の子どもと呼ばれる．」

22.예수께서 즉시 제자들을 재촉하사

자기가 무리를 보내는 동안에 배를 타고 앞서 건너편으로 가게 하시고
23.무리를 보내신 후에 기도하러 따로 산에 올라가시다 저물매 거기 혼자 계시더니
24.배가 이미 육지에서 수리나 떠나서 바람이 거슬리므로 물결을 인하여 고난을 당하더라
25.밤 사경에 예수께서 바다 위로 걸어서 제자들에게 오시니
26.제자들이 그 바다 위로 걸어 오심을 보고 놀라 유령이라 하며 무서워하여 소리지르거늘
27.예수께서 즉시 일러 가라사대 안심하라 내니 두려워 말라
28.베드로가 대답하여 가로되 주여 만일 주시어든 나를 명하사 물 위로 오라 하소서 한대
29.오라 하시니 베드로가 배에서 내려 물 위로 걸어서 예수께로 가되
30.바람을 보고 무서워 빠져 가는지라 소리질러 가로되 주여 나를 구원하소서 하니
31.예수께서 즉시 손을 내밀어 저를 붙잡으시며 가라사대 믿음이 적은 자여 왜 의심하였느냐 하시고
32.배에 함께 오르매 바람이 그치는지라
33.배에 있는 사람들이 예수께 절하며 가로되 진실로 하나님의 아들이로소이다 하더라

22.And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship,

and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.
23.And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray:

and when the evening was come, he was there alone.
24.But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.
25.And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.
26.And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying,

It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
27.But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
28.And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.
29.And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship,

he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
30.But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid;

and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
31.And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand,

and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
32.And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.
33.Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying,

Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

22.それからすぐ，イエスは弟子たちを强いて舟に乘り込ませて，自分より先に向こう岸へ行かせ，

その間に群衆を歸してしまわれた．
23.群衆を歸したあとで，祈るために，ひとりで山に登られた．

夕方になったが，まだそこに，ひとりでおられた．
24.しかし，舟は，陸からもう何キロメ ― トルも離れていたが，風が向かい風なので，波に惱まされていた．
25.すると，夜中の三時ごろ，イエスは湖の上を步いて，彼らのところに行かれた．
26.弟子たちは，イエスが湖の上を步いておられるのを見て，「あれは幽靈だ．」と言って，

おびえてしまい，恐ろしさのあまり，叫び聲を上げた．
27.しかし，イエスはすぐに彼らに話しかけ，

「しっかりしなさい．わたしだ．恐れることはない．」と言われた．
28.すると，ペテロが答えて言った．

「主よ．もし，あなたでしたら，私に，水の上を步いてここまで 來い，とお命じになってください．」
29.イエスは「來なさい．」と言われた．そこで，ペテロは舟から出て，水の上を步いてイエスのほうに行った．
30.ところが，風を見て，こわくなり，沈みかけたので叫び出し，「主よ．助けてください．」と言った．
31.そこで，イエスはすぐに手を伸ばして，彼をつかんで言われた．「信仰の薄い人だな．なぜ疑うのか．」
32.そして，ふたりが舟に乘り移ると，風がやんだ．
33.そこで，舟の中にいた者たちは，イエスを拜んで，「確かにあなたは神の子です．」と言った．
