[니느웨 백성의 회개]
1.  여호와의 말씀이 두번째 요나에게 임하니라 이르시되
2.  일어나 저 큰 성읍 니느웨로 가서 내가 네게 명한 바를 그들에게 선포하라 하신지라
3.  요나가 여호와의 말씀대로 일어나서 니느웨로 가니라 니느웨는 극히 큰 성읍이므로 삼일길이라
4.  요나가 그 성에 들어가며 곧 하룻길을 행하며 외쳐 가로되

사십 일이 지나면 니느웨가 무너지리라 하였더니
5.  니느웨 백성이 하나님을 믿고 금식을 선포하고 무론 대소하고 굵은 베를 입은지라
10.  하나님이 그들의 행한 것

곧 그 악한 길에서 돌이켜 떠난 것을 감찰하시고 뜻을 돌이키사

그들에게 내리리라 말씀하신 재앙을 내리지 아니하시니라

1.  And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time, saying,
2.  Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee.
3.  So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD.

Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey.
4.  And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey,

and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.
5.  So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth,

from the greatest of them even to the least of them.
10.  And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way;

and God repented of the evil,

that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

1 再びヨナに次のような主のことばがあった。
2 「立って、あの大きなニネベに行き、わたしがあなたに告げることばを伝えよ。」
3 ヨナは、主のことばのとおりに、立ってニネベに行った。

ニネベは、行き巡るのに三日かかるほどの非常に大きな町であった。
4 ヨナはその町に入って、まず一日目の道のりを歩き回って叫び、

「もう四十日もうると、ニネベは滅ぼされる」と言った。
5 そこで、ニネベの人々は神を信じ、断食を呼びかけ、身分の高い者から低い者まで荒布を着た。
10 神は、彼らが悪の道から立ち返るために努力していることをご覧になった。

それで、神は彼らを下すと言っておられたわざわいを思い直し、そうされなかった。

1.  여호와여 주께서 나를 감찰하시고 아셨나이다
2.  주께서 나의 앉고 일어섬을 아시며 멀리서도 나의 생각을 통촉하시오며
3.  나의 길과 눕는 것을 감찰하시며 나의 모든 행위를 익히 아시오니
4.  여호와여 내 혀의 말을 알지 못하시는 것이 하나도 없으시니이다
5.  주께서 나의 전후를 두르시며 내게 안수하셨나이다
6.  이 지식이 내게 너무 기이하니 높아서 내가 능히 미치지 못하나이다
13.  주께서 내 장부를 지으시며 나의 모태에서 나를 조직하셨나이다
14.  내가 주께 감사하옴은 나를 지으심이 신묘막측하심이라

주의 행사가 기이함을 내 영혼이 잘 아나이다
15.  내가 은밀한 데서 지음을 받고 땅의 깊은 곳에서 기이하게 지음을 받은 때에

나의 형체가 주의 앞에 숨기우지 못하였나이다
16.  내 형질이 이루기 전에 주의 눈이 보셨으며

나를 위하여 정한 날이 하나도 되기 전에 주의 책에 다 기록이 되었나이다
17.  하나님이여 주의 생각이 내게 어찌 그리 보배로우신지요 그 수가 어찌 그리 많은지요
18.  내가 세려고 할지라도 그 수가 모래보다 많도소이다 내가 깰 때에도 오히려 주와 함께 있나이다

1.  O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.
2.  Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
3.  Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
4.  For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
5.  Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.
6.  Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
13.  For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.

marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
15.  My substance was not hid from thee,

이 후부터 아내 있는 자들은 없는 자 같이 하며

매매하는 자들은 없는 자 같이 하며
31.  세상 물건을 쓰는 자들은 다 쓰지 못하는 자 같이 하라 이 세상의 형적은 지나감이니라

29.  But this I say, brethren, the time is short:

it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none;
30.  And they that weep, as though they wept not;

私は次のことを言いたいのです。時は縮まっています。

Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
15.  And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand:

he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea:

for they were fishers.
17.  And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.
18.  And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him.
19.  And when he had gone a little farther thence,

he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the ship mending their nets.
20.  And straightway he called them:

and they left their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, and went after him.

14 ヨハネが捕らえられて後、イエスはガリラヤに行き、神の福音を宣べて言われた。
15 「時が満ち、神の国は近くなった。悔い改めて福音を信じなさい。」
16 ガリラヤ湖のほとりを通られると、シモンとシモンの兄弟アンデレが湖で網を打っているのをご覧になった。

彼らは漁師であった。
17 イエスは彼らに言われた。「わたしについて来なさい。人間をとる漁師にしてあげよう。」
18 すると、すぐに、彼らは網を捨て置いて従った。
19 また少し行かれると、ゼベダイの子ヤコブとその兄弟ヨハネをご覧になった。

彼らも舟の中で網を繕っていた。
20 すぐに、イエスがお呼びになった。

すると彼らは父ゼベダイを雇い人たちといっしょに舟に残して、イエスについて行った。
