[할례 : 언약의 표징]
1.  아브람의 구십구세 때에

여호와께서 아브람에게 나타나서 그에게 이르시되

나는 전능한 하나님이라 너는 내 앞에서 행하여 완전하라
2.  내가 내 언약을 나와 너 사이에 세워 너로 심히 번성케 하리라 하시니
3.  아브람이 엎드린대 하나님이 또 그에게 일러 가라사대
4.  내가 너와 내 언약을 세우니 너는 열국의 아비가 될지라
5.  이제 후로는 네 이름을 아브람이라 하지 아니하고 아브라함이라 하리니

이는 내가 너로 열국의 아비가 되게 함이니라
6.  내가 너로 심히 번성케 하리니

나라들이 네게로 좇아 일어나며 열왕이 네게로 좇아 나리라
7.  내가 내 언약을 나와 너와 네 대대 후손의 사이에 세워서

영원한 언약을 삼고 너와 네 후손의 하나님이 되리라
15.  하나님이 또 아브라함에게 이르시되

네 아내 사래는 이름을 사래라 하지 말고 그 이름을 사라라 하라
16.  내가 그에게 복을 주어 그로 네게 아들을 낳아 주게 하며

내가 그에게 복을 주어 그로 열국의 어미가 되게 하리니 민족의 열왕이 그에게서 나리라
[창 17:1~7, 15~16]

1.  And when Abram was ninety years old and nine,

the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him,

I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
2.  And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.
3.  And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,
4.  As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
5.  Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham;

for a father of many nations have I made thee.
6.  And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
7.  And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee

in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
15.  And God said unto Abraham,

As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.
16.  And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her:

yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.

1 アブラムが九十九歳になったとき主はアブラムに現れ、こう仰せられた。

「わたしは全能の神である。あなたはわたしの前を歩み、全き者であれ。
2 わたしは、わたしの契約を、わたしとあなたとの間に立てる。わたしは、あなたをおびただしくふやそう。」
3 アブラムは、ひれ伏した。神は彼に告げて仰せられた。
4 「わたしは、この、わたしの契約をあなたと結ぶ。あなたは多くの国民の父となる。
5 あなたの名は、もう、アブラムと呼んではならない。あなたの名はアブラハムとなる。

わたしが、あなたを多くの国民の父とするからである。
6 わたしは、あなたの子孫をおびただしくふやし、あなたを幾つかの国民とする。

あなたから、王たちが出て来よう。
7 わたしは、わたしの契約を、わたしとあなたとの間に、

そしてあなたの後のあなたの子孫との間に、代々にわたる永遠の契約として立てる。

わたしがあなたの神、あなたの後の子孫の神となるためである。
15 また、神はアブラハムに仰せられた。

「あなたの妻サライのことだが、その名をサライと呼んではならない。その名はサラとなるからだ。
16 わたしは彼女を祝福しよう。

確かに、彼女によって、あなたにひとりの男の子を与えよう。

わたしは彼女を祝福する。

彼女は国々の母となり、国々の民の王たちが、彼女から出て来る。」

23.  여호와를 두려워하는 너희여 그를 찬송할지어다

야곱의 모든 자손이여 그에게 영광을 돌릴지어다

너희 이스라엘 모든 자손이여 그를 경외할지어다
24.  그는 곤고한 자의 곤고를 멸시하거나 싫어하지 아니하시며

그 얼굴을 저에게서 숨기지 아니하시고 부르짖을 때에 들으셨도다
25.  대회 중에 나의 찬송은 주께로서 온 것이니 주를 경외하는 자 앞에서 나의 서원을 갚으리이다
26.  겸손한 자는 먹고 배부를 것이며 여호와를 찾는 자는 그를 찬송 할 것이라 너희 마음은 영원히 살지어다
27.  땅의 모든 끝이 여호와를 기억하고 돌아오며 열방의 모든 족속이 주의 앞에 경배하리니
28.  나라는 여호와의 것이요 여호와는 열방의 주재심이로다
29.  세상의 모든 풍비한 자가 먹고 경배할 것이요

진토에 내려가는 자 곧 자기 영혼을 살리지 못할 자도 다 그 앞에 절하리로다
30.  후손이 그를 봉사할 것이요 대대에 주를 전할 것이며
31.  와서 그 공의를 장차 날 백성에게 전함이여 주께서 이를 행하셨다 할 것이로다

23.  Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him;

and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.
24.  For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted;

neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.
25.  My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.
26.  The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him:

your heart shall live for ever.
27.  All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD:

and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.
28.  For the kingdom is the LORD's: and he is the governor among the nations.
29.  All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship:

all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.
30.  A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.
31.  They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born,

that he hath done this.

23 主を恐れる人々よ。主を賛美せよ。ヤコブのすべてのすえよ。主をあがめよ。

イスラエルのすべてのすえよ。主の前におののけ。
24 まことに、主は悩む者の悩みをさげすむことなく、いとうことなく、御顔を隠されもしなかった。

むしろ、彼が助けを叫び求めたとき、聞いてくださった。
25 大会衆の中での私の賛美はあなたからのものです。私は主を恐れる人々の前で私の誓いを果たします。
26 悩む者は、食べて、満ち足り、主を尋ね求める人々は、主を賛美しましょう。

あなたがたの心が、いつまでも生きるように。
27 地の果て果てもみな、思い起こし、主に帰って来るでしょう。

また、国々の民もみな、あなたの御前で伏し拝みましょう。
28 まことに、王権は主のもの。主は、国々を統べ治めておられる。
29 地の裕福な者もみな、食べて、伏し拝み、ちりに下る者もみな、主の御前に、ひれ伏す。

おのれのいのちを保つことのできない人も。
30 子孫たちも主に仕え、主のことが、次の世代に語り告げられよう。
31 彼らは来て、主のなされた義を、生まれてくる民に告げ知らせよう。

[아브라함의 믿음과 그로 말미암은 약속]
13.  아브라함이나 그 후손에게 세상의 후사가 되리라고 하신

언약은 율법으로 말미암은 것이 아니요 오직 믿음의 의로 말미암은 것이니라
14.  만일 율법에 속한 자들이 후사이면 믿음은 헛것이 되고 약속은 폐하여졌느니라
15.  율법은 진노를 이루게 하나니 율법이 없는 곳에는 범함도 없느니라
16.  그러므로 후사가 되는 이것이 은혜에 속하기 위하여 믿음으로 되나니

이는 그 약속을 그 모든 후손에게 굳게 하려 하심이라

율법에 속한 자에게 뿐아니라 아브라함의 믿음에 속한 자에게도니

아브라함은 하나님 앞에서 우리 모든 사람의 조상이라
17.  기록된바 내가 너를 많은 민족의 조상으로 세웠다 하심과 같으니

그의 믿은바 하나님은 죽은 자를 살리시며 없는 것을 있는 것 같이 부르시는 이시니라
18.  아브라함이 바랄 수 없는 중에 바라고 믿었으니

이는 네 후손이 이같으리라 하신 말씀대로 많은 민족의 조상이 되게 하려 하심을 인함이라
19.  그가 백세나 되어 자기 몸의 죽은 것 같음과 사라의 태의 죽은 것 같음을 알고도 믿음이 약하여지지 아니하고
20.  믿음이 없어 하나님의 약속을 의심치 않고 믿음에 견고하여져서 하나님께 영광을 돌리며
21.  약속하신 그것을 또한 능히 이루실 줄을 확신하였으니
22.  그러므로 이것을 저에게 의로 여기셨느니라
23.  저에게 의로 여기셨다 기록된 것은 아브라함만 위한 것이 아니요
24.  의로 여기심을 받을 우리도 위함이니 곧 예수 우리 주를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 이를 믿는 자니라
25.  예수는 우리 범죄함을 위하여 내어줌이 되고 또한 우리를 의롭다하심을 위하여 살아나셨느니라

13.  For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world,

was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
14.  For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:
15.  Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.
16.  Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace;

to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed;

not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham;

who is the father of us all,
17.  (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed,

even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
18.  Who against hope believed in hope,

that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken,

So shall thy seed be.
19.  And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead,

when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb:
20.  He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
21.  And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
22.  And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
23.  Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
24.  But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed,

if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
25.  Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

13 というのは、世界の相続人となるという約束が、アブラハムに、

あるいはまた、その子孫に与えられたのは、律法によってではなく、信仰の義によったからです。
14 もし律法による者が相続人であるとするなら、信仰はむなしくなり、約束は無効になってしまいます。
15 律法は怒りを招くものであり、律法のないところには違反もありません。
16 そのようなわけで、世界の相続人となることは、信仰によるのです。

それは、恵みによるためであり、こうして約束がすべての子孫に、

すなわち、律法を持っている人々にだけでなく、

アブラハムの信仰にならう人々にも保証されるためなのです。

「わたしは、あなたをあらゆる国の人々の父とした」と書いてあるとおりに、

アブラハムは私たちすべての者の父なのです。
17 このことは、彼が信じた神、

すなわち死者を生かし、無いものを有るもののようにお呼びになる方の御前で、そうなのです。
18 彼は望みえないときに望みを抱いて信じました。

それは、

「あなたの子孫はこのようになる」といわれていたとおりに、彼があらゆる国の人々の父となるためでした。
19 アブラハムは、およそ百歳になって、自分のからだが死んだも同然であることと、

サラの胎の死んでいることとを認めても、その信仰は弱まりませんでした。
20 彼は、不信仰によって神の約束を疑うようなことをせず、

反対に、信仰がますます強くなって、神に栄光を帰し、
21 神には約束されたことを成就する力があることを堅く信じました。
22 だからこそ、それが彼の義とみなされたのです。
23 しかし、「彼の義とみなされた」と書いてあるのは、ただ彼のためだけでなく、
24 また私たちのためです。

すなわち、私たちの主イエスを死者の中からよみがえらせた方を信じる私たちも、

その信仰を義とみなされるのです。
25 主イエスは、私たちの罪のために死に渡され、私たちが義と認められるために、よみがえられたからです。

[베드로의 고백, 수난과 부활을 말씀하심]
31.  인자가 많은 고난을 받고

장로들과 대제사장들과 서기관들에게 버린바 되어 죽임을 당하고 사흘만에 살아나야 할 것을

비로소 저희에게 가르치시되
32.  드러내놓고 이 말씀을 하시니 베드로가 예수를 붙들고 간하매
33.  예수께서 돌이키사 제자들을 보시며 베드로를 꾸짖어 가라사대

사단아 내 뒤로 물러가라 네가 하나님의 일을 생각지 아니하고 도리어 사람의 일을 생각하는도다 하시고
34.  무리와 제자들을 불러 이르시되

아무든지 나를 따라 오려거든 자기를 부인하고 자기 십자가를 지고 나를 좇을 것이니라
35.  누구든지 제 목숨을 구원코자 하면 잃을 것이요

누구든지 나와 복음을 위하여 제 목숨을 잃으면 구원하리라
36.  사람이 만일 온 천하를 얻고도 제 목숨을 잃으면 무엇이 유익하리요
37.  사람이 무엇을 주고 제 목숨을 바꾸겠느냐
38.  누구든지 이 음란하고 죄 많은 세대에서

나와 내 말을 부끄러워 하면 인자도 아버지의 영광으로 거룩한 천사들과 함께 올 때에 그 사람을 부끄러워하리라

31.  And he began to teach them,

that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders,

and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
32.  And he spake that saying openly. And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him.
33.  But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples,

he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan:

for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.
34.  And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also,

he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
35.  For whosoever will save his life shall lose it;

but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
36.  For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
37.  Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
38.  Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation;

of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

31 それから、

人の子は必ず多くの苦しみを受け、長老、祭司長、律法学者たちに捨てられ、殺され、

三日の後によみがえらなければならないと、弟子たちに教え始められた。
32 しかも、はっきりとこの事がらを話された。

するとペテロは、イエスをわきにお連れして、いさめ始めた。
33 しかし、イエスは振り向いて、弟子たちを見ながら、ペテロをしかって言われた。

「下がれ。サタン。あなたは神のことを思わないで、人のことを思っている。」
34 それから、イエスは群集を弟子たちといっしょに呼び寄せて、彼らに言われた。

「だれでもわたしについて来たいと思うなら、自分を捨て、自分の十字架を負い、そしてわたしについて来なさい。
35 いのちを救おうと思う者はそれを失い、わたしと福音とのためにいのちを失う者はそれを救うのです。
36 人は、たとい全世界を得ても、いのちを損じたら、何の得がありましょう。
37 自分のいのちを買い戻すために、人はいったい何を差し出すことができるでしょう。
38 このような姦淫と罪の時代にあって、

わたしとわたしのことばを恥じるような者なら、

人の子も、父の栄光を帯びて聖なる御使いたちとともに来るときには、そのような人のことを恥じます。」
