[너희가 어찌하여 나와 다투느냐 너희가 어찌하여 여호와를 시험하느냐]

1.이스라엘 자손의 온 회중이 여호와의 명령대로

신 광야에서 떠나 그 노정대로 행하여 르비딤에 장막을 쳤으나 백성이 마실 물이 없는지라
2.백성이 모세와 다투어 가로되 우리에게 물을 주어 마시게 하라

모세가 그들에게 이르되 너희가 어찌하여 나와 다투느냐 너희가 어찌하여 여호와를 시험하느냐
3.거기서 백성이 물에 갈하매 그들이 모세를 대하여 원망하여 가로되

당신이 어찌하여 우리를 애굽에서 인도하여 내어서 우리와 우리 자녀와 우리 생축으로 목말라 죽게 하느냐
4.모세가 여호와께 부르짖어 가로되

내가 이 백성에게 어떻게 하리이까 그들이 얼마 아니면 내게 돌질 하겠나이다
5.여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되

백성 앞을 지나가서 이스라엘 장로들을 데리고 하수를 치던 네 지팡이를 손에 잡고 가라
6.내가 거기서 호렙산 반석 위에 너를 대하여 서리니

너는 반석을 치라 그것에서 물이 나리니 백성이 마시리라

모세가 이스라엘 장로들의 목전에서 그대로 행하니라
7.그가 그곳 이름을 맛사라 또는 므리바라 불렀으니 이는 이스라엘 자손이 다투었음이요

또는 그들이 여호와를 시험하여 이르기를 여호와께서 우리 중에 계신가 아닌가 하였음이더라

1.And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin,

after their journeys, according to the commandment of the LORD, and pitched in Rephidim:

and there was no water for the people to drink.
2.Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink.

And Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me? wherefore do ye tempt the LORD?
3.And the people thirsted there for water;

and the people murmured against Moses, and said,

Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?
4.And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying,

What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.
5.And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel;

and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go.
6.Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb;

and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink.

And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
7.And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah,

because of the chiding of the children of Israel,

and because they tempted the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among us, or not?

1 イスラエル人の全会衆は、主の命により、シンの荒野から旅立ち、旅を重ねて、レフィディムで宿営した。

そこには民の飲む水がなかった。
2 それで、民はモーセと争い、「私たちに飲む水を下さい」と言った。
3 民はその所で水に渇いた。それで民はモーセにつぶやいて言った。

「いったい、なぜ私たちをエジプトから連れ上ったのですか。

私や、子どもたちや、家畜を、渇き死なせるためですか。」
4 そこでモーセは主に叫んで言った。

「私はこの民をどうすればよいのでしょう。もう少しで私を石で打ち殺そうとしています。」
5 主はモーセに仰せられた。

「民の前を通り、イスラエルの長老たちを幾人か連れ、あなたがナイルを打ったあの杖を手に取って出て行け。
6 さあ、わたしはあそこのホレブの岩の上で、あなたの前に立とう。

あなたがその岩を打つと、岩から水が出る。民はそれを飲もう。」

そこでモーセはイスラエルの長老たちの目の前で、そのとおりにした。
7 それで、彼はその所をマサ、またはメリバと名づけた。

それは、イスラエル人が争ったからであり、

また彼らが、「主は私たちの中におっれるのか、おられないのか」と言って、主を試みたからである。

1.오라 우리가 여호와께 노래하며 우리 구원의 반석을 향하여 즐거이 부르자
2.우리가 감사함으로 그 앞에 나아가며 시로 그를 향하여 즐거이 부르자
3.대저 여호와는 크신 하나님이시요 모든 신 위에 크신 왕이시로다
4.땅의 깊은 곳이 그 위에 있으며 산들의 높은 것도 그의 것이로다
5.바다가 그의 것이라 그가 만드셨고 육지도 그의 손이 지으셨도다
6.오라 우리가 굽혀 경배하며 우리를 지으신 여호와 앞에 무릎을 꿇자
7.대저 저는 우리 하나님이시요

우리는 그의 기르시는 백성이며 그 손의 양이라 너희가 오늘날 그 음성 듣기를 원하노라
8.이르시기를 너희는 므리바에서와 같이 또 광야 맛사의 날과 같이 너희 마음을 강퍅하게 말찌어다
9.그 때에 너희 열조가 나를 시험하며 나를 탐지하고 나의 행사를 보았도다
10.내가 사십년을 그 세대로 인하여 근심하여 이르기를

저희는 마음이 미혹된 백성이라 내 도를 알지 못한다 하였도다
11.그러므로 내가 노하여 맹세하기를 저희는 내 안식에 들어오지 못하리라 하였도다

1 さあ、主に向かって、喜び歌おう。われらの救いの岩に向かって、喜び叫ぼう。
2 感謝の歌をもって、御前に進み行き、賛美の歌をもって、主に喜び叫ぼう。
3 主は大いなる神であり、すべての神々にまさって、大いなる王である。
4 地の深みは主の御手のうちにあり、山々の頂も主のものである。
5 海は主のもの、主がそれを造られた。陸地も主の御手が造られた。
6 来たれ。私たちは伏し拝み、ひれ伏そう。私たちを造られた方、主の御前に、ひざまずこう。
7 主は、私たちの神。私たちは、その牧場の民、その御手の羊である。きょう、もし御声を聞くなら、
8 メリバでのときのように、荒野のマサでの日のように、あなたがたの心をかたくなにしてはならない。
9 あのとき、あなたがたの先祖たちはすでにわたしのわざを見ておりながら、わたしを試み、わたしをためした。
10 わたしは四十年の間、その世代の者たちを忌みきらい、そして言った。「彼らは、心の迷っている民だ。彼らは、私の道を知ってはいない」と。
11 それゆえ、わたしは怒って誓った。「確かに彼らは、わたしの安息に、入れない」と。

1.그러므로 우리가 믿음으로 의롭다 하심을 얻었은즉 우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 하나님으로 더불어 화평을 누리자
2.또한 그로 말미암아 우리가 믿음으로 서 있는 이 은혜에 들어감을 얻었으며 하나님의 영광을 바라고 즐거워하느니라
3.다만 이뿐 아니라 우리가 환난 중에도 즐거워하나니 이는 환난은 인내를,
4.인내는 연단을, 연단은 소망을 이루는 줄 앎이로다
5.소망이 부끄럽게 아니함은 우리에게 주신 성령으로 말미암아 하나님의 사랑이 우리 마음에 부은바 됨이니
6.우리가 아직 연약할 때에 기약대로 그리스도께서 경건치 않은 자를 위하여 죽으셨도다
7.의인을 위하여 죽는 자가 쉽지 않고 선인을 위하여 용감히 죽는 자가 혹 있거니와
8.우리가 아직 죄인 되었을 때에 그리스도께서 우리를 위하여 죽으심으로 하나님께서 우리에게 대한 자기의 사랑을 확증하셨느니라
9.그러면 이제 우리가 그 피를 인하여 의롭다 하심을 얻었은즉 더욱 그로 말미암아 진노하심에서 구원을 얻을 것이니
10.곧 우리가 원수 되었을 때에 그 아들의 죽으심으로 말미암아 하나님으로 더불어 화목되었은즉 화목된 자로서는 더욱 그의 살으심을 인하여 구원을 얻을 것이니라
11.이뿐 아니라 이제 우리로 화목을 얻게 하신 우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 하나님 안에서 또한 즐거워하느니라

1.Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2.By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3.And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4.And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5.And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
6.For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7.For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8.But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9.Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10.For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11.And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

1 ですから、信仰によって義と認められた私たちは、私たちの主イエス・キリストによって、神との平和を持っています。
2 またキリストによって、いま私たちの立っているこの恵みに信仰によって導き入れられた私たちは、神の栄光を望んで大いに喜んでいます。
3 そればかりではなく、患難さえも喜んでいます。それは、患難が忍耐を生み出し、
4 忍耐が練られた品性を生み出し、練られた品性が希望を生み出すと知っているからです。
5 この希望は失望に終わることがありません。なぜなら、私たちに与えられた聖霊によって、神の愛が私たちの心に注がれているからです。
6 私たちがまだ弱かったとき、キリストは定められた時に、不敬虔な者のために死んでくださいました。
7 正しい人のためにでも死ぬ人はほとんどありません。情け深い人のためには、進んで死ぬ人があるいはいるでしょう。
8 しかし私たちがまだ罪人であったとき、キリストが私たちのために死んでくださったことにより、神は私たちに対するご自身の愛を明らかにしておられます。
9 ですから、今すでにキリストの血によって義と認められた私たちが、彼によって神の怒りから救われるのは、なおさらです。
10 もし敵であった私たちが、御子の死によって神と和解させられたのなら、和解させられた私たちが、彼のいのちによって救いにあずかるのは、なおさらのことです。
11 そればかりでなく、私たちのために今や和解を成り立たせてくださった私たちの主イエス・キリストによって、私たちは神を大いに喜んでいるのです。

5.사마리아에 있는 수가라 하는 동네에 이르시니 야곱이 그 아들 요셉에게 준 땅이 가깝고
6.거기 또 야곱의 우물이 있더라 예수께서 행로에 곤하여 우물 곁에 그대로 앉으시니 때가 제 육시쯤 되었더라
7.사마리아 여자 하나가 물을 길러 왔으매 예수께서 물을 좀 달라 하시니
8.이는 제자들이 먹을것을 사러 동네에 들어갔음이러라
9.사마리아 여자가 가로되 당신은 유대인으로서 어찌하여 사마리아 여자 나에게 물을 달라 하나이까 하니 이는 유대인이 사마리아인과 상종치 아니함이러라
10.예수께서 대답하여 가라사대 네가 만일 하나님의 선물과 또 네게 물좀 달라 하는 이가 누구인줄 알았더면 네가 그에게 구하였을 것이요 그가 생수를 네게 주었으리라
11.여자가 가로되 주여 물 길을 그릇도 없고 이 우물은 깊은데 어디서 이 생수를 얻겠삽나이까
12.우리 조상 야곱이 이 우물을 우리에게 주었고 또 여기서 자기와 자기 아들들과 짐승이 다 먹었으니 당신이 야곱보다 더 크니이까
13.예수께서 대답하여 가라사대 이 물을 먹는 자마다 다시 목마르려니와
14.내가 주는 물을 먹는 자는 영원히 목마르지 아니하리니 나의 주는 물은 그 속에서 영생하도록 솟아나는 샘물이 되리라
15.여자가 가로되 주여 이런 물을 내게 주사 목마르지도 않고 또 여기 물 길러 오지도 않게 하옵소서
16.가라사대 가서 네 남편을 불러 오라
17.여자가 대답하여 가로되 나는 남편이 없나이다 예수께서 가라사대 네가 남편이 없다 하는 말이 옳도다
18.네가 남편 다섯이 있었으나 지금 있는 자는 네 남편이 아니니 네 말이 참되도다
19.여자가 가로되 주여 내가 보니 선지자로소이다
20.우리 조상들은 이 산에서 예배하였는데 당신들의 말은 예배할 곳이 예루살렘에 있다 하더이다
21.예수께서 가라사대 여자여 내 말을 믿으라 이 산에서도 말고 예루살렘에서도 말고 너희가 아버지께 예배할 때가 이르리라
22.너희는 알지 못하는 것을 예배하고 우리는 아는 것을 예배하노니 이는 구원이 유대인에게서 남이니라
23.아버지께 참으로 예배하는 자들은 신령과 진정으로 예배할 때가 오나니 곧 이때라 아버지께서는 이렇게 자기에게 예배하는 자들을 찾으시느니라
24.하나님은 영이시니 예배하는 자가 신령과 진정으로 예배할찌니라
25.여자가 가로되 메시야 곧 그리스도라 하는 이가 오실 줄을 내가 아노니 그가 오시면 모든 것을 우리에게 고하시리이다
26.예수께서 이르시되 네게 말하는 내가 그로라 하시니라
27.이 때에 제자들이 돌아와서 예수께서 여자와 말씀하시는 것을 이상히 여겼으나 무엇을 구하시나이까 어찌하여 저와 말씀하시나이까 묻는 이가 없더라
28.여자가 물동이를 버려두고 동네에 들어가서 사람들에게 이르되
29.나의 행한 모든 일을 내게 말한 사람을 와 보라 이는 그리스도가 아니냐 하니
30.저희가 동네에서 나와 예수께로 오더라
31.그 사이에 제자들이 청하여 가로되 랍비여 잡수소서
32.가라사대 내게는 너희가 알지 못하는 먹을 양식이 있느니라
33.제자들이 서로 말하되 누가 잡수실 것을 갖다 드렸는가 한대
34.예수께서 이르시되 나의 양식은 나를 보내신 이의 뜻을 행하며 그의 일을 온전히 이루는 이것이니라
35.너희가 넉 달이 지나야 추수할 때가 이르겠다 하지 아니하느냐 내가 너희에게 이르노니 눈을 들어 밭을 보라 희어져 추수하게 되었도다
36.거두는 자가 이미 삯도 받고 영생에 이르는 열매를 모으나니 이는 뿌리는 자와 거두는 자가 함께 즐거워하게 하려 함이니라
37.그런즉 한 사람이 심고 다른 사람이 거둔다 하는 말이 옳도다
38.내가 너희로 노력지 아니한 것을 거두러 보내었노니 다른 사람들은 노력하였고 너희는 그들의 노력한 것에 참예하였느니라
39.여자의 말이 그가 나의 행한 모든 것을 내게 말하였다 증거하므로 그 동네 중에 많은 사마리아인이 예수를 믿는지라
40.사마리아인들이 예수께 와서 자기들과 함께 유하기를 청하니 거기서 이틀을 유하시매
41.예수의 말씀을 인하여 믿는 자가 더욱 많아  
42.그 여자에게 말하되 이제 우리가 믿는 것은 네 말을 인함이 아니니 이는 우리가 친히 듣고 그가 참으로 세상의 구주신줄 앎이니라 하였더라

5.Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
6.Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.
7.There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
8.(For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
9.Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
10.Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
11.The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
12.Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
13.Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
14.But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
15.The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
16.Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
17.The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
18.For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
19.The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.
20.Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
21.Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
22.Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
23.But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24.God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
25.The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
26.Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.
27.And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her?
28.The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men,
29.Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?
30.Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.
31.In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat.
32.But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of.
33.Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat?
34.Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
35.Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
36.And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.
37.And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.
38.I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.
39.And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.
40.So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days.
41.And many more believed because of his own word;
42.And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

5 それで主は、ヤコブがその子ヨセフに与えた地所に近いスカルというサマリヤの町に来られた。
6 そこにはヤコブの井戸があった。イエスは旅の疲れで、井戸のかたわらに腰をおろしておられた。時は第六時ごろであった。
7 ひとりのサマリヤの女が水をくみに来た。イエスは「わたしに水を飲ませてください」と言われた。
8 弟子たちは食物を買いに、町へ出かけていた。
9 そこで、そのサマリヤの女は言った。「あなたはユダヤ人なのに、どうしてサマリヤの女の私に、飲み水をお求めになるのですか。」―ユダヤ人はサマリヤ人とつきあいをしなかったからである。―
10 イエスは答えて言われた。「もしあなたが神の賜物を知り、また、あなたに水を飲ませてくれという者がだれであるかを知っていたなら、あなたのほうでその人を求めたことでしょう。そしてその人はあなたに生ける水を与えたことでしょう。」
11 彼女は言った。「先生。あなたはくむ物を持っておいでにならず、この井戸は深いのです。その生ける水をどこから手にお入れになるのですか。
12 あなたは、私たちの父ヤコブよりも偉いのでしょうか。ヤコブは私たちにこの井戸を与え、彼自身も、彼の子たちも家畜も、この井戸から飲んだのです。」
13 イエスは答えて言われた。「この水を飲む者はだれでも、また渇きます。
14 しかし、わたしが与える水を飲む者はだれでも、決して渇くことがありません。わたしが与える水は、その人のうちで泉となり、永遠のいのちへの水がわき出ます。」
15 女はイエスに言った。「先生。私が渇くことがなく、もうここまでくみに来なくてもよいように、その水を私に下さい。」
16 イエスは彼女に言われた。「行って、あなたの夫をここに呼んで来なさい。」
17 女は答えて言った。「私には夫はありません。」イエスは言われた。「私には夫がないというのは、もっともです。
18 あなたには夫が五人あったが、今あなたといっしょにいるのは、あなたの夫ではないからです。あなたが言ったことはほんとうです。」
19 女は言った。「先生。あなたは預言者だと思います。
20 私たちの父祖たちはこの山で礼拝しましたが、あなたがたは、礼拝すべき場所はエルサレムだと言われます。」
21 イエスは彼女に言われた。「私の言うことを信じなさい。あなたがたが父を礼拝するのは、この山でもなく、エルサレムでもない、そういう時が来ます。
22 救いはユダヤ人から出るものですから、あなたがたは知らないで礼拝しています。
23 しかし真の礼拝者たちが霊とまことによって父を礼拝する時が来ます。今がその時です。父はこのような人々を礼拝者として求めておられるからです。
24 神は霊ですから、神を礼拝する者は、霊とまことによって礼拝しなければなりません。」
25 女はイエスに言った。「私は、キリストと呼ばれるメシヤの来られることを知っています。その方が来られるときには、いっさいのことを私たちに知らせてくださるでしょう。」
26 イエスは言われた。「あなたと話しているこのわたしがそれです。」
27 このとき、弟子たちが帰って来て、イエスが女の人と話しておられるのを不思議に思った。しかし、だれも、「何を求めておられるのですか」とも、「なぜ彼女と話しておられるのですか」とも言わなかった。
28 女は、自分の水がめを置いて町へ行き、人々に言った。
29 「来て、見てください。私のしたこと全部を私に言った人がいるのです。この方がキリストなのでしょうか。」
30 そこえ、彼らは町を出て、イエスのほうへやって来た。
31 そのころ弟子たちはイエスに、「先生。召し上がってください」とお願いした。
32 しかし、イエスは彼らに言われた。「わたしには、あなたがたの知らない食物があります。」
33 そこで、弟子たちは互いに言った。「だれか食べる物を持って来たのだろうか。」
34 イエスは彼らに言われた。「わたしを遣わした方のみこころを行い、そのみわざを成し遂げることが、わたしの食物です。
35 あなたがたは、『刈り入れ時が来るまでに、まだ四か月ある』と言ってはいませんか。さあ、わたしの言うことを聞きなさい。目を上げて畑を見なさい。色づいて、刈り入れるばかりになっています。
36 すでに、刈る者は報酬を受け、永遠のいのちに入られる実を集めています。それは蒔く者と刈る者がともに喜ぶためです。
37 こういうわけで、『ひとりが種を蒔き、ほかの者が刈り取る』ということわざは、ほんとうなのです。
38 わたしは、あなたがたに自分で労苦しなかったものを刈り取らせるために、あなたがたを遣わしました。ほかの人々が労苦して、あなたがたはその労苦の実を得ているのです。」
39 さて、その町のサマリヤ人のうち多くの者が、「あの方は、私がしたこと全部を私に言った」と証言したその女のことばによってイエスを信じた。
40 そこで、サマリヤ人たちはイエスのところに来たとき、自分たちのところに滞在してくださるように願った。そこでイエスは二日間そこに滞在された。
41 そして、さらに多くの人々が、イエスのことばによって信じた。
42 そして彼らはその女に言った。「もう私たちは、あなたが話したことによって信じているのではありません。自分で聞いて、この方がほんとうに世の救い主だと知っているのです。」
