[거룩한 길]
1 광야와 메마른 땅이 기뻐하며 사막이 백합화 같이 피어 즐거워하며
2 무성하게 피어 기쁜 노래로 즐거워하며 레바논의 영광과 갈멜과 사론의 아름다움을 얻을 것이라

그것들이 여호와의 영광 곧 우리 하나님의 아름다움을 보리로다
3 너희는 약한 손을 강하게 하여주며 떨리는 무릎을 굳게 하여주며
4 겁내는 자에게 이르기를

너는 굳세게 하라 두려워 말라

보라 너희 하나님이 오사 보수하시며 보복하여 주실 것이라

그가 오사 너희를 구하시리라 하라
5 그 때에 소경의 눈이 밝을 것이며 귀머거리의 귀가 열릴 것이며
6 그 때에 저는 자는 사슴 같이 뛸 것이며 벙어리의 혀는 노래 하리니

이는 광야에서 물이 솟겠고 사막에서 시내가 흐를 것임이라
7 뜨거운 사막이 변하여 못이 될 것이며 메마른 땅이 변하여 원천이 될 것이며

시랑의 눕던 곳에 풀과 갈대와 부들이 날 것이며
8 거기 대로가 있어 그 길을 거룩한 길이라 일컫는바 되리니

깨끗지 못한 자는 지나지 못하겠고

오직 구속함을 입은 자들을 위하여 있게 된 것이라

우매한 행인은 그 길을 범치 못할 것이며
9 거기는 사자가 없고 사나운 짐승이 그리로 올라가지 아니하므로 그것을 만나지 못하겠고

오직 구속함을 얻은 자만 그리로 행할 것이며
10 여호와의 속량함을 얻은 자들이 돌아오되

노래하며 시온에 이르러 그 머리 위에 영영한 희락을 띠고 기쁨과 즐거움을 얻으리니

슬픔과 탄식이 달아나리로다

1 The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them;

and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.
2 It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing:

the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon,

they shall see the glory of the LORD, [and] the excellency of our God.
3 Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
4 Say to them [that are] of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not:

behold, your God will come [with] vengeance, [even] God [with] a recompence; he will come and save you.
5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
6 Then shall the lame [man] leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing:

for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
7 And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water:

in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, [shall be] grass with reeds and rushes.
8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness;

the unclean shall not pass over it; but it [shall be] for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err [therein].
9 No lion shall be there, nor [any] ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there;

but the redeemed shall walk [there]:
10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads:

they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

1 荒野と、かわいた地とは楽しみ、さばくは喜びて花咲き、さふらんのように、
2 さかんに花咲き、かつ喜び楽しみ、かつ歌う。

これにレバノンの栄えが与えられ、カルメルおよびシャロンの麗しさが与えられる。

彼らは主の栄光を見、われわれの神の麗しさを見る。
3 あなたがたは弱った手を強くし、よろめくひざを健やかにせよ。
4 心おののく者に言え、「強くあれ、恐れてはならない。

見よ、あなたがたの神は報复をもって臨み、神の報いをもってこられる。

神は来て、あなたがたを救われる」と。
5 その時、見えない人の目は開かれ、聞えない人の耳は聞えるようになる。
6 その時、足の不自由な人は、しかのように飛び走り、口のきけない人の舌は喜び歌う。

それは荒野に水がわきいで、さばくに川が流れるからである。
7 焼けた砂は池となり、かわいた地は水の源となり、山犬の伏したすみかは、葦、よしの茂りあう所となる。
8 そこに大路があり、その道は聖なる道ととなえられる。

汚れた者はこれを通り過ぎることはできない、愚かなる者はそこに迷い入ることはない。
9 そこには、ししはおらず、飢えた獣も、その道にのぼることはなく、その所でこれに会うことはない。

ただ、あがなわれた者のみ、そこを歩む。
10 主にあがなわれた者は帰ってきて、その頭に、とこしえの喜びをいただき、歌うたいつつ、シオンに来る。

彼らは楽しみと喜びとを得、悲しみと嘆きとは逃げ去る。

5 야곱의 하나님으로 자기 도움을 삼으며 여호와 자기 하나님에게 그 소망을 두는 자는 복이 있도다
6 여호와는 천지와 바다와 그 중의 만물을 지으시며 영원히 진실함을 지키시며
7 압박 당하는 자를 위하여 공의로 판단하시며 주린 자에게 식물을 주시는 자시로다

여호와께서 갇힌 자를 해방하시며
8 여호와께서 소경의 눈을 여시며 여호와께서 비굴한 자를 일으키시며 여호와께서 의인을 사랑하시며
9 여호와께서 객을 보호하시며 고아와 과부를 붙드시고 악인의 길은 굽게 하시는도다
10 시온아 여호와 네 하나님은 영원히 대대에 통치하시리로다

5 Happy [is he] that [hath] the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope [is] in the LORD his God:
6 Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein [is]: which keepeth truth for ever:
7 Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry.

The LORD looseth the prisoners:
8 The LORD openeth [the eyes of] the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down:

the LORD loveth the righteous:
9 The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow:

but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

5 ヤコブの神をおのが助けとし、その望みをおのが神、主におく人はさいわいである。
6 主は天と地と、海と、その中にあるあらゆるものを造り、とこしえに真実を守り、
7 しえたげられる者のためにさばきをおこない、飢えた者に食物を与えられる。主は捕われ人を解き放たれる。
8 主は盲人の目を開かれる。主はかがむ者を立たせられる。主は正しい者を愛される。
9 主は寄留の他国人を守り、みなしごと、やもめとをささえられる。しかし、悪しき者の道を滅びに至らせられる。
10 主はとこしえに統べ治められる。シオンよ、あなたの神はよろず代まで統べ治められる。主をほめたたえよ。

47 내 마음이 하나님 내 구주를 기뻐하였음은
48 그 계집종의 비천함을 돌아 보셨음이라 보라 이제 후로는 만세에 나를 복이 있다 일컬으리로다
49 능하신 이가 큰 일을 내게 행하셨으니 그 이름이 거룩하시며
50 긍휼하심이 두려워하는 자에게 대대로 이르는도다
51 그의 팔로 힘을 보이사 마음의 생각이 교만한 자들을 흩으셨고
52 권세 있는 자를 그 위에서 내리치셨으며 비천한 자를 높이셨고
53 주리는 자를 좋은 것으로 배불리셨으며 부자를 공수로 보내셨도다
54 그 종 이스라엘을 도우사 긍휼히 여기시고 기억하시되
55 우리 조상에게 말씀하신 것과 같이 아브라함과 및 그 자손에게 영원히 하시리로다 하니라

47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden:

for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
49 For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy [is] his name.
50 And his mercy [is] on them that fear him from generation to generation.
51 He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
52 He hath put down the mighty from [their] seats, and exalted them of low degree.
53 He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.

47 わたしの霊は救主なる神をたたえます。
48 この卑しい女をさえ、心にかけてくださいました。

今からのち代々の人々は、わたしをさいわいな女と言うでしょう、
49 力あるかたが、わたしに大きな事をしてくださったからです。そのみ名はきよく、
50 そのあわれみは、代々限りなく／主をかしこみ恐れる者に及びます。
51 主はみ腕をもって力をふるい、心の思いのおごり高ぶる者を追い散らし、
52 権力ある者を王座から引きおろし、卑しい者を引き上げ、
53 飢えている者を良いもので飽かせ、富んでいる者を空腹のまま帰らせなさいます。
54 主は、あわれみをお忘れにならず、その僕イスラエルを助けてくださいました、
55 わたしたちの父祖アブラハムとその子孫とを／とこしえにあわれむと約束なさったとおりに」。

[인내와 기도]
7 그러므로 형제들아 주의 강림 하시기까지 길이 참으라

보라 농부가 땅에서 나는 귀한 열매를 바라고 길이 참아 이른 비와 늦은 비를 기다리나니
8 너희도 길이 참고 마음을 굳게 하라 주의 강림이 가까우니라
9 형제들아 서로 원망하지 말라 그리하여야 심판을 면하리라

보라 심판자가 문 밖에 서 계시니라
10 형제들아 주의 이름으로 말한 선지자들로 고난과 오래 참음의 본을 삼으라

7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord.

Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it,

until he receive the early and latter rain.
8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.
10 Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord,

for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.

7 だから、兄弟たちよ。主の来臨の時まで耐え忍びなさい。

見よ、農夫は、地の尊い実りを、前の雨と後の雨とがあるまで、耐え忍んで待っている。
8 あなたがたも、主の来臨が近づいているから、耐え忍びなさい。心を強くしていなさい。
9 兄弟たちよ。互に不平を言い合ってはならない。さばきを受けるかも知れないから。

見よ、さばき主が、すでに戸口に立っておられる。
10 兄弟たちよ。苦しみを耐え忍ぶことについては、主の御名によって語った預言者たちを模範にするがよい。
